Tayc on Tour

Afrobeat, R&B and soul are perfectly blended together with the silky voice of Cameroonian-French singer/songwriter Tayc. Tayc is set to embark on his 2022 fall tour, making stops in Canada, Belgium and France. Self-describing his music as Afrolove, Tayc's passionate performances are able to spread a message of acceptance and love while thrilling audiences by bringing together jazz, soul and R&B. Since releasing Alchemy in 2017, Tayc has continued to make a number of hit albums, including H E L I O S. (2018), his triple album NYXIA, Tome III (2019), Fleur froide (2020), Fleur froide (Donum Novae) (2021), Fleur froide (UMM) (2021) and Fleur froide -- Second état : la cristallisation (2021).

Julien Bouadjie, better known by Tayc, was born in Marseille, France, to Cameroonian parents. He was first introduced to music when he was sent to boarding school in Paris in 2012. Singing almost exclusively is French, Tayc has accumulated an extremely large following. His Youtube channel has more than 437 million views, and the music video for his hit song "Le temps'' has over 117 million views and counting. "Le temps'' was also on the Top 40 music chart in France for 76 weeks. In 2021, Tayc was nominated for Francophone Male Artist of the Year by the prestigious NRJ Music Awards. Due to his musical success, Tayc has been able to shed light on Afrolove. Commenting on it in an interview with A Rap & A Cup of Tea, Tayc said, "For me it's a movement, a way of thinking and doing things ... We sincerely want to spread Afrolove to our community and to the people who follow us." Tayc's popularity continues as he maintains more than 4.2 million monthly listeners on Spotify with his songs "Le temps," "N'y pense plus" and "D O D O," garnering more than 225 million streams combined.

More security please ! In the general admission section, many people fell because the barrier wasn’t solid enough.

    Not the best experience

by Nobody on 2022-09-27Place Bell - Laval

I was standing up and everyone was pushing everyone it wasn’t nice to be pushed by other people. And I’m not tall and I couldn’t from where I was so that was a big turn off.

    Good show not good sound

by Ladybug on 2022-09-27Place Bell - Laval

It was a nice show but the sound wasn’t good at all. It seemed like the sound engineer didn’t know the musics we bearly heard the chorus… Il a big fan of Tayc and I know most of his songs and when I listen to music, I focus on the melody details… need some improvements there.

    montreal laval show

    by a. p. on 2022-09-26

The vibes were immaculate, everyone was standing, dancing and singing along. Honestly hd so much fun at his concert. However, my only issue is i've wished he'd had screens for his show. The venue was huge and i think even though the experience in the upper floors was fun, it would've been made better with screens to see what was happening on the stage.

    Bad organization

    by Jess on 2022-09-25

Tayc was great, he really delivered a show! On the other hand I really disliked my experience at Place Bell. There was 0 organization for the floor section. People were pushing in the crowd and fighting. It was difficult to breath in the crowd, we saw several people fainting in the crowd. The security team brought several wheel chairs and emergency stretchers. There is only one exit from the floor section, which is really worrying because after 30 minutes that the show was over we were still inside waiting to get out since there was traffic jam of people in the stairs. Until the security let us back in the arena to go out from another exit from the second floor. It is worrying for our safety if there is an emergency or a fire or anything that could put us in danger to know it took all that time for us to get out. Overall poor organizationand poor safety measures for us as clients.
