Afrobeat, R&B and soul are perfectly blended together with the silky voice of Cameroonian-French singer/songwriter Tayc. Tayc is set to embark on his 2022 fall tour, making stops in Canada, Belgium and France. Self-describing his music as Afrolove, Tayc's passionate performances are able to spread a message of acceptance and love while thrilling audiences by bringing together jazz, soul and R&B. Since releasing Alchemy in 2017, Tayc has continued to make a number of hit albums, including H E L I O S. (2018), his triple album NYXIA, Tome III (2019), Fleur froide (2020), Fleur froide (Donum Novae) (2021), Fleur froide (UMM) (2021) and Fleur froide -- Second état : la cristallisation (2021).
Julien Bouadjie, better known by Tayc, was born in Marseille, France, to Cameroonian parents. He was first introduced to music when he was sent to boarding school in Paris in 2012. Singing almost exclusively is French, Tayc has accumulated an extremely large following. His Youtube channel has more than 437 million views, and the music video for his hit song "Le temps'' has over 117 million views and counting. Commenting on it in an interview with A Rap & A Cup of Tea, Tayc said, "For me it's a movement, a way of thinking and doing things ... We sincerely want to spread Afrolove to our community and to the people who follow us." Tayc's popularity continues as he maintains more than 4.2 million monthly listeners on Spotify with his songs "Le temps," "N'y pense plus" and "D O D O," garnering more than 225 million streams combined.

The set list was fire, the energy was insane. Tayc is an amazing performer his presence in the stage alone brought life to the room. I’ll definitely be going back to any and all of his Toronto shows
From start to finish!! That's what I call a performance . He gave us all his energy for 2hours str8, got us singing and dancing. A night to remember. If you weren't there you pretty much missed something.

Tayc was amazing. Although the only thing I could complain about was the fact that he started to sing an hour and a half after the debut. The opening lasted 45 minutes, so we were left standing with nothing, no music what so ever for another 45 minutes. But besides that, the concert was just epic, great sound, voice is just as good as studio, and amazing dancers.
Good stage presence but it felt like karaoke. He could have sung more. He did very little singing and too much time dancing and jumping around. It felt like a talent show/ school performance.
Amazing experience , I was so happy to see that Tayc wasn’t actually a scam lol . The man doesn’t even need auto tune ,and the energy was fire ! that concert was definitely worth it
Tayc is an amazing artist and dancer with an infectious energy! The Vibe was crazyyy.. One of my best concert for sure!
Tayc is an amazing and talented artist. Was awesome to see him live. Show was great but could be a bit better. Started a bit late and the venue seemed a bit small. Wish it was longer and that the OG wifeys had enough room to dance with him on stage. Overall pretty happy
Tayc really is an amazing performer, the set was really long in my opinion. The man didn't take one break, i'm not even sure I saw him drink water. But anyways, vocals were super super on point, energy was high and infections, set was amazing(hearing him acapella !! ~feels). Will definitely see him again, when he comes back to Toronto. Hopefully by then, I'll know enough French to engage more! The Phoenix Center was cool too, a lot bigger than it looks!
