Tegan and Sara first established themselves as indie rock royalty in the mid-2000s. The Canadian duo released the critically-acclaimed albums So Jealous (2004) and The Con (2007), before evolving to more of a pop sound on 2013’s Heartthrob, which was produced by Greg Kurstin (Adele, Beck, Foo Fighters) and features the synth-pop hit “Closer.” Since their 1999 debut album Under Feet Like Ours, Tegan and Sara have sold over a million albums worldwide, and have played to sold-out arenas with artists like The Killers and Katy Perry. The twin sisters are also longtime activists, and are dedicated to improving the lives of LGBTQ+ women and girls through the Tegan and Sara Foundation, which they established in 2016. Their 2019 memoir High School was a New York Times best-seller, and was adapted into a television series of the same name. They released their 10th studio album Crybaby in 2022.

Hands down the best live show I've ever seen. The venue was awesome.. and they sounded amazing live!! T + S were hilarious on stage and they played tons of great songs (included the WHOLE new cd Sainthood) I would (and intend to see them as many times again in the near future!!)
Tegan and Sara were their usual charming selves connecting with the audience and playing a great blend of old songs along with the new album. The girls were in great vocal form this night and the background lights added great mood to go along with the songs. Although I thoroughly enjoyed this concert, I was a little dissappointed with a couple of things . I first fell in love with the group when I saw them in concert a couple of years ago and Sara was singing "Like O, Like H" and Tegan was wailing the high notes "Like O" - this time around there was no high notes, and relied on recorded echo of "Like O" on the keyboards. My other dissapointment is that they had too much keyboards and not enough guitar playing and often Sara was singing sideways. Aside from that it was a great Tegan and Sara show and I would highly recommend it to old and new fans.
By far my favourite band ever. Only band I've ever found that I can honestly say have never put out a track I didn't like. There's atleast one of their songs in every playlist I make. Sainthood will be amazing!
