About

Award-winning singer, songwriter and musician Tenille Townes released her new project Masquerades April 22 via Columbia Nashville/Sony Music Nashville in partnership with RCA Records. A meditation on duality, self-reflection, and embracing flaws, Masquerades follows her acclaimed debut album The Lemonade Stand, which was named Country Album of the Year at the 50th JUNO Awards.

Townes is a 14-time Canadian Country Music Award Winner (CCMA), and is the reigning CCMA Entertainer of the Year. The two-time ACM Award-winner is also the first female artist in Mediabase Canada history to achieve two No. 1 singles (Music Canada Gold-certified "Jersey On The Wall (I'm Just Asking)," Music Canada Platinum-certified and RIAA Gold-certified "Somebody's Daughter").

Following standout support runs with Dierks Bentley, Miranda Lambert, Brothers Osborne, George Strait and Reba, Townes is headlining shows across the globe in Australia, Canada, The United Kingdom, Ireland, The Netherlands, Germany and the US. • Tenille Townes & Nate Holler

Saw this concert at the Biltmore Theatre in Oshawa, Ontario. The show was amazing, Tenille definitely deserved all the CCMA awards she won earlier this year. The only downfall to the concert was that it was deafening for both artists. You couldn’t tell what they were saying because it was SO loud. I go to a lot of general admission concerts so I’m used to being at the front, but this concert was extremely loud. Not sure if it was because of the small indoor venue or if it was on the sound guys… but didn’t realize the venue sold ear plugs until it was too late and we were on our way out after the show. If you are going to attend tenille’s concerts, do yourself a favour and buy earplugs as I had ringing in my ears for 2 days after. Overall, great interactive performance and I would definitely see her again.

  • Wow, what a voice !!!!

Tim and the Glory Boys opening act were incredible. Musicians were amazing and the lead singer’s voice was unique and powerful. Got the crowd going ! Tenille Townes is the best singer I have ever heard. Concert from start to finish exceeded my expectations. Finished the show with “Somebody’s Daughter” which left me and my daughter in tears. Tenille has a gift for evoking emotion and I look forward to seeing her again - that is if she ever comes back to a small city again after her expected super stardom !

  • Tenille Townes Tim and the Glory Boys

I was quite interested in seeing Tim and the Glory Boys. I had read reviews that they put on a good show and there song " when you now you know " was one of the songs we used for our wedding playlist this past summer. I was not disappointed at all. Their stage presence was good, they interacted well with the audience. I had never seen a kick drum used in a live performance and thought that was pretty cool. I can honestly say I had never really heard of Tenille before, I was familiar with her current hit but was not familiar with her other work. Her performance was strong, her vocals were strong, it was a very entertaining set. If she ever tires of country music, this lady definitely has the voice for rock. Her rendition of Alanis Morissettes " Ironic " and Joan Jett " Hate myself for loving you " were bang on. She covered both of these iconic hits as if they were her own. I highly recommend seeing both of these acts and would definitely go see them again

  • Let me explain

This is a hard one to review as we really like Tenille’s singing but we were very disappointed driving in to the city from afar expecting a great performance. We didn’t know what to expect when Tim and the Glory Boys came out as we don’t know them that well but were pleasantly surprised by their performance and quite enjoyed them. Now we are ready to hear Tenille and when she came out we were like OMG this is WAY WAY WAY too loud. Now I know we are getting older but…that was deafening. We all also thought her first song wasn’t the song she should have started with. We found that Tenille’s part was totally ruined as we couldn’t understand anything she was saying even when she was just talking. I don’t if it was because it was a smaller venue but I put the blame on the sound people. Was a sound check done?

  • Great Even but Terrible sound

by Savvy on 2021-12-14Coors Event Centre (formerly known as O'Brians Event Centre) - SaskatoonRating: 3 out of 5

Tim and the Glory Boys were excellent and actually made the show for our group. Very entertaining and sounded great. We go to one of their concerts anytime. Tenille was good but her sound engineer seemed to be way off and she was incredibly hard to hear or understand. She performed well and we enjoyed that portion of the show but couldn't even stay till the end due to the poor mixing and EQ by her sound tech. Was disappointed with that aspect of the show, I had been looking forward to this concert for months.

  • Concert great - venue not so much!!

by JennG on 2021-12-07Bronson Centre - OttawaRating: 5 out of 5

Tenille Townes was awesome. Love her voice and she played all the songs I was hoping she would. The concert was excellent! However, the venue was very poorly managed. It took us one hour in line to get into the small venue. The line moved very slowly when it moved at all. There was only one person scanning tickets which was likely the problem …. We moved quicker through the proof of vaccination section of the line than the tickets. Not impressed at all. I won’t be going back to something at this venue again.

Venue was great. More people checking vaccination records would have been water. Only 1 person most of the time and a second occasionally. Facility clean. Concert awesome.

Tenille Townes was fantastic!!! What a talent! Great energy, songwriter and performer! The whole package! Nice crowd too. Also enjoyed the opener, Tim & The Glory Boys and I was not familiar with them. The sound was excellent. The venue is ummm…old….(dingy bathrooms) but the staff was excellent. • Excellent performance, no so excellent venue

by HighTower on 2021-12-06London Music Hall - LondonRating: 4 out of 5

She went above and beyond with her performance. Her band did an excellent job as well. The acoustics of the venue were less than good though and the venues standing room only was not appreciated.
