About

Award-winning singer, songwriter and musician Tenille Townes released her new project Masquerades April 22 via Columbia Nashville/Sony Music Nashville in partnership with RCA Records. A meditation on duality, self-reflection, and embracing flaws, Masquerades follows her acclaimed debut album The Lemonade Stand, which was named Country Album of the Year at the 50th JUNO Awards.

Townes is a 14-time Canadian Country Music Award Winner (CCMA), and is the reigning CCMA Entertainer of the Year. The two-time ACM Award-winner is also the first female artist in Mediabase Canada history to achieve two No. 1 singles (Music Canada Gold-certified "Jersey On The Wall (I'm Just Asking)," Music Canada Platinum-certified and RIAA Gold-certified "Somebody's Daughter").

Following standout support runs with Dierks Bentley, Miranda Lambert, Brothers Osborne, George Strait and Reba, Townes is headlining shows across the globe in Australia, Canada, The United Kingdom, Ireland, The Netherlands, Germany and the US. Her international touring efforts earned her a nomination for CMA's international achievement award.

Additionally, she has raised over $2.5 million for Big Hearts For Big Kids, a non-profit she started when she was 12 years old to benefit a youth shelter in her hometown, which has grown to support organizations such as Girl Scouts of Middle Tennessee, S.A.F.E. Animal Haven, and the Manna House.

    Awesome 👌

by Kwnstr on 2023-01-30Coors Event Centre - Saskatoon

Back up band Nick Haller was good except his vocals could have been tweaked as it was a little muffled from where we were sitting. Tenille sounded awesome her band was tight. And her vocals were amazing. She sang everything i wanted to hear and i even enjoyed her covers. Would see her again!

    Tenille Townes and Nate Haller

by Betts on 2023-01-30Coors Event Centre - Saskatoon

The opening act of Nate Haller and band was very good. Had not heard of him before. Actually met him out in the parking lot before the show, Tenille, I love what she is doing with her vocal range. She has an amazing voice and her stage presence is incredible. She loves her audience and connects so well. Cannot wait to see her again. Sorry, not with Shania though,

OMG WAY WAY WAY too loud!!

    by Sharon Nicolas on 2023-01-26

I saw Tenille perform tonight in Calgary at the Jack Singer concert hall. She is an exceptional talent! Her voice is amazing and her songs are outstanding. Tonight, however, I found the sound very very loud. It was ridiculous. I was plugging my ears at points it was so loud! Both for her opening act and her band. I thought it might just be me, but other concert goers at previous shows, have made similar comments here on Ticketmaster reviews. I’m saying this because I want to hear EVERY NOTE and EVERY WORD Tenille sings!! Because she is an amazing artist! Please adjust the sound to a better level!

    terrible sound quality

    by N. P. on 2023-01-23Commodore Ballroom - Vancouver

This show had the worst sound quality I've ever experienced at any show in any type of venue. We couldn't make out what people were saying, let alone when they were singing with the band cranked up so much louder than the vocals. My friend and I left early because all we got out of it was me occasionally recognizing a tune and saying, "Oh, I love this one!" which was no help to my friend, who was new to Tenille Townes. I love her songwriting and singing, but I won't be back at any event at the Commodore, likely ever. Plus we were fortunate to snag what were among the last available stools to sit on; I would not have been impressed if we'd had to stand for the whole time, as the website did not indicate that when I ordered the tickets. Artist gets high score; venue gets negative score. Although shouldn't the artist's own sound people check that the levels are appropriate before the show? Extremely disappointing evening.
