    The Addams Family

by Lynn2 on 2011-03-24Lunt-Fontanne Theatre - New York

The Addams Family show was fantastic. The whole family enjoyed it. Laughs for everyone. We all thought the cast was great! The only dissapointing thing was that we bought the tickets thinking that Nathan Lane was still part of the production. We would have loved to have seen his portrayal for sure! Great show for the whole family!

    I great night out.

by csumms on 2011-03-19Lunt-Fontanne Theatre - New York

Not sure what I was walking into too watch. I was very surprised how much I enjoyed the show. If you take it too serious then it will not work for you but if you were expecting humour like the tv show, then you will "get" it. Enjoyed the first act over the second due to more scenes with the whole family together being the "Adams family". If you dont take it too serious you will enjoy. Theatre has very little common space with one little snake bar. YOu walk right into the seating area when you enter the doors.

    The Addams Family was fabulous!!!!

by Mamuka on 2011-03-03Lunt-Fontanne Theatre - New York

My husband, my daughter and I recently went to see The Addams Family and enjoyed it thoroughly. It was delightful and very entertaining. Nathan Lane was tops and so were all the other actors. The singing was very good and in general, the show was on a high level. This was actually the first Broadway show we have ever attended as we do not live in the USA. We are definitely returning!

Awful Show, terrible "jokes", FABULOUS acting

by TruthBeTold on 2011-02-25Lunt-Fontanne Theatre - New York

What can i say- the worst lines, cheapest embarrassing humor. The folks from France thought that was what American humor was all about. Very not- clever. However, Lane, Neuworth-whole cast was spot on and it was great to see them shine.

    we loved it!!

by kilimanjaro on 2010-12-31Lunt-Fontanne Theatre - New York

Our group of 8 (ages 15 - 52) simply loved it. It was entertaining, funny, a good story line and extremely well acted. Nathan Lane was exceptional. The Addams family is very nostalgic for many people and this production didn't disappoint - but cleverly updated with some modern humor. Highly recommend this production for someone who wants light entertainment and fun.

Amazing night with The Addams Family

by Victorian161 on 2010-12-04Lunt-Fontanne Theatre - New York

We loved it!!! Two adults and two older children thought it was amazing. Nathan Lane is the consummate broadway actor and, as we were in the 6th row, we could see all of his winks and facial expressions! Bebe Neuwirth was the perfect Morticia too! It was great to really be able to see Ms. Neuwirth dance!! The actress who played their daughter has a terrific voice too! Go see it!!!!!!!!!

    Great show for family outing.

by newyorker on 2010-11-29Lunt-Fontanne Theatre - New York

We went with three generations. Something for everyone (and it's not easy to please a mother and mother- in-law in late 70's, 13 year old nephew, 6 year old son and parents in the mid-40s.) Great sense of humor. Great performances. Fun staging.

    It was great

by RandyW on 2010-11-23Lunt-Fontanne Theatre - New York

Laughed our A's off. The acting was great Nathan Lane and Bebe Neworth were incredible and so were the rest of the cast especially grandma. This show is not really for kids lots of sexual innuendos.

The sets, the costumes, the music- it was all wonderful. But when all is said and done- it was Nathan Lane. Nuff Said.

Addams Family Fun (but not great!

by BroadwayDog on 2010-10-30Lunt-Fontanne Theatre - New York

Surprisingly with talent like Nathan Lane, Bebe Neuwirth (Chorus Line, Chicago & Fraiser), Terrrance Mann (original Rum Tum tugger!), Jackie Hoffman (Xanadu & Hairspray) and more, you would expect better songs, memorable laughs and a great Broadway experience... not so much....songs were lame, not memorable, the second half seemed like the creators said - " Now let's let each person sing a boring song on their own!"... The sets were great, chorus was talented. Terrance Mann called it in - looked like he would rather be anywhere else....but overall, it was just "nice". Its no Women on the Verge or WIcked or In the Heights... Go if you can get CHEAP tickets, take the kids, but don't pay $126 each!!!!

    Addams family delightful

by strubaby on 2010-10-10Lunt-Fontanne Theatre - New York

The play had us laughing from beginning to end. Nathan Lane is a true comic & even when there were some technical difficulties, he was a true professional. Fun from the moment the lights went out!!

A great evening to see these Broadway stars

by hithere1 on 2010-09-06Lunt-Fontanne Theatre - New York

How can you miss with this cast? It is spellbinding just watching them act. Superb sets and costumes. Storyline a touch weak, but still entertaining and well worth seeing.

Fantastic-Nathan Lane was amazing, the story line was a lot funnier than I expected. Some of the music/songs were a little silly though and weren't needed i.e. In the Arms of a Squid. We enjoyed it.

The Addams Family is silly entertainment

by doughgirl on 2010-09-01Lunt-Fontanne Theatre - New York

I attended the show with my husband and 2 teenaged children. What we saw and heard was a very talented cast, each performing ridiculous characters who could sing, and dance, and deliver their funny lines with impeccable timing. We all laughed and clapped delightfully. I recommend this show for any family who is in the mood for cheesy comedy, anyone who enjoys Nathan Lane doing his style of comedy, or any Bebe Neuwirth fan who'd like to see her dance.

    Great Fun!

by Jsalzy on 2010-08-25Lunt-Fontanne Theatre - New York

This was my first Broadway experience. I took my 9-year-old daughter. I picked this show with her in mind (The Addams Family is one of her favourite movies), and found myself enjoying it much more than anticipated. We both loved it. It's filled with humour for both adults and kids alike and the story line was a lot of fun. I would recommend this to anyone - with or without kids.
