Who explores a coral reef, plays in an octopus’s garden, and joins the jellyfish ballet – all before snack time? The Backyardigans! Pablo, Tyrone, Tasha, Uniqua and Austin are back on stage, singing and dancing and ready to plunge sea deep into adventure. Dive into the action as these five friends explore clues, discover underwater magic, and match wits with an all-too-tidy octopus and a pair of playful (but messy!) dolphins. With a splashy range of song-and-dance styles to wade along to – including psychedelic soul, Bollywood, bossa nova, and more – our heroes save the day.
The show was all in all a pretty good performance! I would go again for sure! It would have a 5 but the props where a little messy, but the kids didnt care. My daughter LOVES the backyardigans and it was great that they used the songs right from the show cause she knew all of them :) thanks for the great show guys!
My 4 yearold daughter was awestruck when the Backyardigans came on stage. As the concert went on the more my daughter got into it; sing & dancing along with the characters. I would definately reccommend this concert to all parents. It was such a joy to watch my daughter have so much fun!
The Backyardigans is a spectacular show that will keep your child entertained. It is so creative and imaginative. So many of the songs from the shows were incorporated which made it more fun for the kids because they knew alot of the words. The timing of the show was perfect - started on time, 40 minutes of show then 20 minutes of intermission then 30 minutes of show. The right amount of time for toddlers to sit.
The whole show was awesome. The backyardigans themselves were great. The octopus lady I could have done without. Her voice was so high pitch and irritating that I left with ears ringing for hours. Also the sound for the show was too loud.

This was the first time my 2 year old sat still for an hour and a half. It was excellent. After the show he told me that he had so much fun. Loved it would go again!
My wife and I took our 3 year old girl to see the Backyardigans live, as they are her favorite tv show. Gotta say it was a very well done show. The actors/characters did a nice job, and the songs sounded great. The most important thing was that my daughter really enjoyed the show and I would definitely recommend it to others.
My son just turned 1 and I thought he might be too young for the show. He LOVED it. The characters were well played, It was easy to follow the storyline and I loved the props and extra actors used. The show flowed nicely. Enjoyable and highly recommended for any parents with young children.
The show was perfect for my 3 yr old son. It incorporated a lot of songs from different episodes and they did a lot of dancing too (which was awesome...especially by the "Seaweed man"). The costumes were just right (not the ones where you could see the actors faces.) It was an appropriate length of time for preschool children with an intermission halfway through (for that all important potty break). It was very engaging, so much so that my 4 month old didn't fuss during the entire performance. He was that memorized by everything. If you want any souvenirs, just make sure you bring cash. They do not accept credit or debit cards. The prices were quite fair. I highly recommend the show to anyone with a preschooler who loves the Backyardigans. I'm looking forward to their next tour / show.
I took my four year old son and he very much enjoyed the show. I found the background special effects very well down. The Backyardigan characters were just like the TV show and so were their taped voices. I asked my son which show he liked better: Franklin's Christmas last Dec. 2008 or the Backyardigan show (both were at the Bell Centre). By far the Backyardigans was the better show. Looking forward to more shows.
Very entertaining afternoon for children & adults. Music & choreography was excellent. A suggestion for improvement would to have the characters be available for the children to meet after the show.
it was good, but i could have done without the giant tv screens and better staging/backdrops and props
My (almost) 3 year old son loved watching the show and sat still the entire time! Those Backyardigans are so cute and held their audience captive very well considering kids have almost no attention span.
The public especially kids were not entertained to the end of the show. I think there was a lack of interaction and some of them were bored. After show pictures with the characters would have done a happy ending for the kids.
My daughter, who is four, loved the show. She talked about it all night. I also thought that it was really well done. I was worried that I would be bored watching a kid show but I think I had just as much fun as she did. Thank you for a fun evening!!
My 4 year old son and 3 year old nephew thought it was amazing. They were singing and dancing in front of their seat. We bought the tickets when they first came out and I wish I had of bought one for my 2 year old daughter too.

Hi, I have 3 and 5 year old girls, they had a good time but it could have been a lot better. I was disappointed that there was not enough interaction with the audience especially with the kids. There could have been a few more songs and a bit more dancing. Other than that it was alright.
The Sea Deep in Adventure show was excellent. We went as a surprise for our 3 and 5 year old daughters. The characters, singing and set design were excellent. As adults we enjoyed the humor and set design. The children's favorites were the yellow subamarine, the seaweed character and Octavia the octopus. They went to bed singing the songs and they were singing them again the next morning. They can't wait for the Backyardigans to come back to town!
The venue was awesome - every seat had a great view, and parking a breeze! the show was great, action packed, loads of singing and great choreography!
