  • Bone rattling booty shaking fun

    Friday night and the Budos were ready to party. With doom metal power cords, crunchy bass riffs and powerhouse horn section the band brought their unique blend of psychedelic hard rock and funk to an eager audience at the Commodore. So much energy, Budos played a monster set leaving the final note hanging in the air long past usual closing time. Opening act Say She She set the tone with an amazing set of neo disco. A fantastic night, most fun I’ve had in a long time.

    These guys are incredible! No autotune, no pyrotechnics, just pure talent for 1:45! The Secret Chiefs 3 opened and they have a bizarre style, but they're fun. Our only complaint is the seating on the mezzanine is cramped- the stools are spaced about 15-inches apart, but the average shoulder width is at least 20, so there's no room for personal space.

    It was an excellent show in fabulous venue! I will definitely get tickets again when they return to Toronto. Enjoyed my front row mezzanine ticket, but also would’ve been fun on the floor.
