One of the best concerts I've ever seen in my life! The sound was absolutely perfect, they played for about three hours, and so many songs I never thought I would hear them play! Venue is very comfortable and even though our seats were near the back the sound was perfect the view was great.
Almost 4 decades of music means they sure did have a lot of material to cover, and included many faves! 4 encores...need I say more?!
Amazing show! 3 solid hours...who could have expected that?! Perfect sound. Would have loved if the screens to the side were bigger or more of them. We had seats in the 200s and it was difficult to see. I guess I'm used to those screens now at large venues. Great energy; they love and respect their fans!
The show started out with The Twilight Sad performing and they were great! If you haven't seen them play yet they are worth going early for. Their presence holds the stage! Once The Cure embraced the stage there was no going back, they take you on the most surreal experience. I still get goosebumps thinking about the show. Robert Smith performed better than I could ever imagine. Hands down a 5 star show!!! The Cure played for 3 hours with 4 encores. They break wasn't even long enough to get a beer.. I don't know how they did it but they pulled it off seamlessly.
One of the best shows I've seen... and I've seen a lot! These guys put on a show that was memorable, classic and mesmerizing. Robert's vocals were as good as they were in his youth... not many 57 year old singers can say that! He really looked touched after the final 4th encore when leaving the stage... one gets a feeling that he really loves what he is doing and the band resonates this feeling to the audience with their powerful performance and masterful timing. Been a fan for more than 32 years and I finally got to see them... without a shred of disappointment. Thank you so much for a wonderful night to remember! As for the venue... buy the premier parking as its a freaking zoo to park and leave if you don't! You'll miss half the show getting in and up to 2 hours to leave the parking lot.
Traveled from Alberta to see concert with friends. Despite only 1 original member from Cure (robert Smith), it was all that was needed. His voice was strong and as distinctive as it has always been. Band strong and cohesive. Crowd very enthused which makes it all the better. Only sad moment, no Love cats on our night.
I have seen The Cure three times now and they have never disappointed. This was an absolutely flawless show with so much energy! I have never danced so much in my life. It was truly the greatest show I have ever been to.
I cannot believe that I was there. Impossible to be disappointed by The Cure
If you don't know how this concert goes - it's 3 pinnacle Cure albums, back to back. And then it was followed up by 3-4 encores. So damn good. Very little chit chat by Robert Smith though.
A 30 year flashback !!! In a great theater and the sound was excellent!
