The Dap-Kings Tickets

This is a great band. They started late. They had a crappy mix the guitars were over top of a lot of the vocals. Sharon Jones really wails, but the mix got in the way.

The only thing hotter than the 30 degree temp at the venue, was Ms Jones. She is perhaps the most under-recognized performer of the last two generations. She deserves large venue support. Very pleased that the age range of the audience spanned 5 decades, at least. For old folks (like me), there are very few concerts I want to to that are 'stand up'. Sharon Jones is one of them.

Great Performance! Amazing band and lots of energy!

I'm sure the concert was amazing. However, I left after waiting for 2 1/2 hours waiting for them to come onstage. Considering that most of the audience was over 40 and we probably all had jobs to go to the next day , going on after 10:20 pm is way too late to go on. I feel very annoyed.

This is a Lounge Act not a true Soul Review. Very Disappointing.

The energy and dynamics of Miss Jones and the Fabulous Dap Kings is unmatched these days. Definately a show to see live and shows their best potential live. These musicians are tight and professional and put on a slick show with lots of dynamics and groove. Nary a soul in the audience was not shaking their booty or tapping their feet non-stop. Miss Jones is a rising star and to the Dap Kings, I bow. I can't wait to see them again.

Sharon Jones and the Dapkings are absolutely fantastic! If you have the opportunity to see her in concert, take it!! Her energy is amazing, her voice is fantastic and her showmanship is out of this world. She works her ass off to entertain the socks off of the audience. She even includes people from the audience in her show. Sings to and dances with hot guys!! One of my favourites!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
