The Dead South have never been about constant reinvention, but about full commitment to their own singular way. With confidence in their sound and style and trust in each other, The Dead South arrive at the cusp of explosive global success in an enviable, and well-earned, position: total autonomy. It doesn't really matter what you call their music - progressive bluegrass, alternative Americana, country, folk and western, what matters is that this is theirs, and people from all different backgrounds, beliefs, experiences, languages and ages love it.

True blue right through, The Dead South don't shy away from ruffling traditionalists' feathers from time to time, as they flawlessly execute banjo rolls and lightning-fast mandolin tremolos, 3-part harmonies and songs of classic themes -murder ballads, disloyalty, ghosts and the like, all with a wink and a smile. As they continue their climb to the top, The Dead South have learned an important lesson: If you're going to be outsiders, you'd better be great.

Confirmed by the passion of their Dead South cosplaying fans, who go to concerts in the band's signature look, this four-piece acoustic set from the middle of the Canadian prairies have found their people. Good Company, as they call themselves, is a global community of vastly dissimilar folks who might not see eye to eye, but who stand shoulder to shoulder at the gigs.

    Been a fan of these guys for years. Grateful to have the opportunity to see them in person. Excellent show. A very engaging band and a great show overrall.

    What a fantistic bunch of talented musicians who know how to put on a show. I loved their music and live was that much better and the venue just added a whole other level of awesome. The crowd was so laid back.

    Great sound and venue, bands were great Venue could use some more airflow, but my God were the bathrooms ever in horrendous shape. None of the stall doors worked or locked properly. Fix you bathrooms Bala!! Come on!!

    never been to a better show! the crowd were full of the nicest people , all mingling and buying each other drinks. this is a band that brings people together! can't wait for them to come back to ontario. i'll live every day sad until then ! can't wait !

    Not a bad seat in the house. Great sound. Deadsouth are worth seeing again and again and again! Open act was nice surprise. Throughly enjoyed them and will be following.

    Depuis quelques années je voulais les voir en show et j'en ai eu pour mon argent. Le décor et les lumières étaient incroyable, le groupe sans étonnement aussi bien et même mieux qu'à la radio. Le seul point négatif que j'ai du show est qu'il avait un groupe de con qui fesait un mushpit alors que ça n'a pas lieux d'être dans un show comme celui-ci. Si tu es un fan du groupe, c'est tout une expérience, le groupe chante leur classique et leurs nouvelles musique. En résumé, un excellent show que je recommande

    Rev Peyton was an unexpected surprise great guitar work and they blew the House Down. Dead South also delivered a great show and the visual effects of the stage and altered depth perception was an added Treat.
