  • Unbelievable!!! Aggressive and full of energy!!

    by Gtaylor6 on 2014-04-17Louis' Pub - SaskatoonRating: 5 out of 5

Dillinger put on an amazing show!!! The set list was great and there was no lack of energy! Tickets were very reasonable. I can't say enough good things about this show...Retox opened for them, not a great act. The singer acted pompous and bored. Trash talk was the third opener, not a huge fan of the music but they put on a great show. The venue kind of sucked (Louis'). Has poor acoustics and is not set up for this kind of show at all, but I would go back and see Dillinger there any day!!!!

  • Darkest Hour destroyed

by Orbital on 2010-04-10RICKSHAW THEATRE - VANCOUVERRating: 4 out of 5

Animals as Leaders and Darkest Hour were the definate highlights. Seeing Tobin help set up Darkest Hours gear shows what a grounded dude he is. Having all that tallent and not getting caught up in any rockstar mentality shows kids he's a true role model and an unbeleiveable tallent. Darkest Hour sounded plain amazing. Thankfully iwrestledabearonce didn't play this show. Terrible band.

  • DEP wow

by Starfishcom on 2010-04-10RICKSHAW THEATRE - VANCOUVERRating: 5 out of 5

I have been to many concerts in my life and all I can say is DEP is rewriting the book. If you ever think to yourself that you've seen it all, go to a DEP show.

  • ANIMALS AS LEADERS

Animals As Leaders set was unbelievable. They are very cool and approachable. Hung out with fans after show.

  • Dillinger BRING IT! everytime

    by Dillinger1 on 2009-09-29The Mod Club - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

I have had the pleasure of seeing Dillinger 13 times, and everytime they deliver 120%. For those on the fence and are wondering if they should go or not..GO! I highly recomend it. Think Converge,NIN,GenghisTron and Mr,Bungle, are the closest comparisons. The Mod Club Show was off the wall Literally..you know what words cant describe a dillinger experience..you must see first hand. Trust me you'll love em!!

  • A taste of DeP

    by Mastofan81 on 2009-07-15Mod Club Theatre - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

I've heard the great things about Dillinger live, I've seen the Youtube clips, yet nothing could quite prepare me for the real thing. For starters, the show took place on the edge of the Taste of Italy festival, adding to the carnival vibe of the show. Between sets you could sample awesome food and waste money on rigged carny games. I showed in time for most of the Knife the Glitter set, and they set the stage adequately. Having never heard there music before, I was suitably impressed. Mathy, noisy metal with jarring riffs and spastic time signatures. Then, on comes DeP, and they didn't disappoint. They rode the line between the older, harsher stuff and the newer, more accessible songs, keeping old and new fans equally satisfied. There was no barricade and no line of bouncers cause Dillinger don't need any. Front man Greg Puciato is more formidable than any group of bouncers could hope to be. Alternately hugging, ridiculing and throwing kids off the stage. Guitarists banged and thrashed, rode the audience like a cork on a wave, and made the bar their stage. Song selection was near perfect. Varying the pace just enough to keep the audience from going deaf and/or insane trying to keep up. By the end of the show my ears were ringing, I was shell-shocked and singing Their lyrics all the way home.
