    The jacksons Unity Tour

by Mommy02 on 2012-10-14River Rock Casino Resort - Richmond

it was the worst show we have ever seen, the musicians were good but it to damn load. I we heard was BOOM BOOOM. we could not understand the four brothers. It was just noise. For the type of show and amount of band members the show should have been at The Orpheum or The Queen Elizabeth Theatre. We have many shows over the years and this is first time we left early We have seen The Beach Boys, The Hollies, America We left after show and our hearing was intact

    The Jacksons

by norman1 on 2012-10-14River Rock Casino Resort - Richmond

I had a great time at the show, and even was invited to meet them before the show. That was so much fun! They were very freindly and seemed genuinley happy to be there. The staff at the River Rock also added to the fun of the whole experience. They were freindly and helpful even the bar staff. The only comment I will make is that I wished they had played more songs from when they were the Jackson 5. And that they didnt do alot of talking to the audience, I would like to have heard abit about their tour

    Jacksons United

by Terrylynn on 2012-10-14River Rock Casino Resort - Richmond

Entertaining right from the beginning - would have liked to have heard even more familiar songs but fabulous show without all the glitz of the concerts these days. Small theatre allowed for close up viewing. Raw performance - shows how talented all four were! Could have listened and been entertained for hours more!!!

    Amazing time with the Jacksons!

by Twinmom2000 on 2012-10-14River Rock Casino Resort - Richmond

It was such an amazing night. Started off with a Meet & Greet. ~ photos, hugs, laughs, autographs. The only thing that could have made it more amazing is more time with them. If they were here for 2 shows, we would have gone for both, with M&G. If they were here for 5 shows, we would have found a way to go to all. Will never forget it. Front row centre was the best! Didn't sit down the whole night, right up at the stage. They have the moves, and the voices. Great tribute to Michael, and wonderful interaction with the crowd. Highly recommend seeing the Jacksons if they come to your city. If you can afford the M&G, do it, you won't regret it.

    The Jacksons Unity was fantastic

by Grandma46 on 2012-10-14River Rock Casino Resort - Richmond

The Jacksons themselves were awesome, but the music was drowning out their voices. Many times we could not actually hear the lyrics they were singing, the music drowned out their voices which is too bad because they are awesome. The Jacksons performance was unforgettable, but just wish we could have understood half of what they were singing. We have been to other performances and never run into this problem. It is unfortunate, because they are truly talented and I know they will go far.

    Exceeded expectation!!!

by Soarwithgrace on 2012-10-14River Rock Casino Resort - Richmond

The Jackson's came together and gave us a fabulous performance. Without special effects and a lot of fluff, they remind us what entertainment is all about!! The show was full of energy and best efforts. There was no doubt that they were doing what they love, and given they're a bit older now, they did a darn good job. The band was incredible and I was amazed how tight and powerful they were...collectively and individually!!! They were the perfect compliment to the brother's nonstop vocals! Although it's often a touchy subject, the brothers did not in any way overplay the Michael card. They remembered and mentioned him appropriately, and subtlety. I bring this up only because many are not able to just appreciate the brothers as their own entity. All in all, I can only say that the Jacksons exceeded expectations, and delivered a show that didnt disappoint. If you have the opportunity to see them...grab it!!!!

    Okay, but...

by Shawn99 on 2012-06-25Fox Theatre Detroit - Detroit

Good show - EXCELLENT backup band, outstanding - but couldn't have been more than 90 minutes, and they did a 3 minute melody of some of their biggest hits?!? Shake Your Body is good, but does it deserve a 25 minute version when other hit songs are ignored? And no encore. I don't recall a concert in 100+ I've been to, where there was no encore. Also first time in 100+ shows I went through a metal detector, but I guess that's Detroit. Okay, but could have been better. Just saw Beach Boys, same vintage, big reunion show for 2012 in the same style - and Beach Boys DESTROYS this concert.

    The Jacksons

by kimdemarco on 2012-06-24Casino Rama - Rama

Woooowwww!! The Jacksons up close and personal. Casino Rama is the BEST place to see a concert. Floor seats and fixed ourselves at the front at the stage. Best view of "Living Legends". The brothers really showed that they are as talented as their belated brother. BUT, be warned, several tear jerking moments with tributes to Michael. Bring kleenex and your dancing shoes!!

Enjoy Yourself with The Jacksons !!!

by MBee on 2012-06-24Casino Rama - Rama

The four brothers put on an excellent show and really gave it all their heart and soul. These guys, true professionals, played straight through for 90 minutes, pushing through the emotions throughout the evening when the force of Michael's absence was so palpable and heavy. The Jacksons are part of Motown royalty and it was the first time they performed without Michael. Not easy. But the show became a triumphant, beautiful tribute to him, a celebration of the Jackson 5 days, their beginnings, their memories, the music that either made you wanna dance or touched your heart to the very core. They had the room rockin' and up on their feet. I had an absolute blast and was so happy that I got to share this moment in their history. I saw The Jacksons in 1984 during the Victory Tour with Michael, so this night was a bit nostalgic for me. A great experience.

    Fantastic!!!

by AVGT on 2012-06-23Casino Rama - Rama

Loved the show. I didn't think that the show will be good without Michael, but the brothers pulled it off. It was all about the music (no special effects and costume changes), they sang everything live. They split Michael's vocals between themselves, so even Jackie and Tito had solo parts. People seem to forget that these guys are professionals and practically grew up on stage. The choirs and the harmonies of all the J5 and the Jacksons' hits were sang by them originally, so the choirs actually sounded really well, just like the original songs. Of course, the verses were not the same without Michael, even though the brothers gave it all, but if you don't expect to hear Michael, it was pretty good. They still got it! Loved that they sang some less popular songs, likely chosen to best fit their voices.

    Jackson Unity Tour

    by wingman1 on 2012-06-22Casino Rama - Rama

It was a good concert until two women stood up directly in front of us to dance, without any regard to those behind. I didn't see much of the last third of the concert. I can understand people rising for the last song or two, but they were up shortly after the second half... no regard for anyone but themselves. After paying good money, it unfortunately spoiled the concert for me, and I left before the end.

    The Jacksons were awesome

by Louyse on 2012-06-22Casino Rama - Rama

They have played a lot of the old stuff and some of their new stuff (too many ballads in the new stuff but it was good anyway). I left on a high, was great music and was signing in my head. I already recommended to many friends and family.

    The Jacksons were awesome!

    by Smile16 on 2012-06-22Casino Rama - Rama

The brothers sounded and looked fantastic! I want to see them again. I was glad that they did a little tribute to Michael, but they didn't overdo it. The show was well worth the money. I was disappointed that they did not have any swag for sale.

Great show, danced all night at the stage! Shook hands with all the bros and MJ's lifelong guitarist who rocks! Cried at MJ tribute...everyone did. Soooooooooooooo excited to finally see them perform live. Looking forward to their return.
