About

The Killers are a Las Vegas quartet who formed in 2001. Featuring the long-running lineup of frontman Brandon Flowers, guitarist Dave Keuning, bassist Mark Stoermer and drummer Ronnie Vannucci, Jr., The Killers have released seven studio albums. Their 2004 debut Hot Fuss contains their diamond-certified lead single “Mr. Brightside” and platinum singles “Somebody Told Me” and “All These Things That I’ve Done,” and the band has had 11 singles chart on the Hot 100. Across two decades of recording together, the four-piece have sold over 28 million albums worldwide and topped the Billboard 200 (with 2017’s Wonderful Wonderful). The band hit No. 1 Billboard’s Alternative Airplay chart for the first time with “When You Were Young” from 2006’s Sam’s Town, and they would return to the top spot for later singles “Caution” from 2020’s Imploding the Mirage and “Boy” from the 2023 compilation Rebel Diamonds.

    Spectacular!

    by 1ConcertGuy on 2009-09-07Molson Amphitheatre - Toronto

I am a huge Killers fan and have gone to all the different concerts they have had in TO. This one was by far their best. I think the open air venue provided a more intimate setting then the Air Canada Centre could have. The visuals were simply spectacular. It was like having one giant screen behind the band changing colours and setting the mood for every song. The energy levels were peaked from the intial song and never let up. A group worth seeing live if you are a huge concert fan.

    Killers were awesome!!!

by shopgirlsteph on 2009-09-07Molson Amphitheatre - Toronto

Unfortunately I arrived late at the event, missing The Killer's first few songs and missing Wolfmother entirely due to the CNE. The traffic to get to the venue was terrible plus I had to park about 25 minutes away because the Molson Amphitheatre parking lot was full of CNE cars! It would have been nice if Ticketmaster or the Molson Amphitheatre gave a heads up. That aside The Killers far exceeded my expectations. The songs flowed well together. The crowd seemed really into it. There were lots of lighting effects, lots of fireworks, and my personal favorite - a confetti cannon! The best part was the last song before the finale. Brandon Flowers told the story of how The Killers got together which led to them playing Mr. Brightside (debatably the most popular song of the night) immediately followed by All These Things I've Done.

Killers know how to put on a show

by Bobbiemac on 2009-09-07Molson Amphitheatre - Toronto

The Killers could've easily chosen to focus on their latest album, Day & Age. Their last album was probably their best. From that perspective, the set list that wasn't too heavily focused on the current album was a huge relief and surprise. The whole performance was fantastic and the set was great as well. By the way, wolf mother was not good. I'm a little surprised they couldn't find a better local band.
