    Show was great but a bit too loud for the venue. Instruments drowned out the singer.

    Was an energized, professional performance with lots of opportunity for each member to showcase their talents. The only reason I did not give 5 stars was that Los Lobos was replaced with Kelly Prescott so not all that happy with that substitution.

    Due to the expanse of Raul's capabilities, the Mavericks give an outstanding musical performance. The big band are incredibly talented. There is never a full moment in watching their fabulous skills

    Can't get the music out of our heads !!! The Mavericks are extremely infectious, magnetic and draws you in the party. Wow!!!! Dance all night long, so spectacular we did not want this concert to end. Can't wait for them to return. The Jubilee Auditorium was very well organized. Thank you.

    9 of the most talented musicians led by one of the best voices in music….Raul Malo. I caught both shows in Calgary and will say they are absolutely amazing!

    The Mavericks entertained us for 2 solid hours. All of the musicians displayed incredible talent and the show just kept us moving in rhythm the whole night Seats were up front on floor centre and worth every penny!

    Was disappointed that Los Lobos canceled, like everyone there, but…we were all blown away by her music and performance. Glad she got the chance to show us. The Mavericks never disappoint, love love love them and their music. They are true showmen!

    Incredible concert! Huge band. An amazing concert! A mix of musical styles including rock, country, Tex-Mex and more. First time for me to see 2 incredible (rock style) accordion solos in a concert, plus incredible vocals, guitar, trumpet and saxophone. Would highly recommend seeing this band. Probably one of the best concerts I’ve ever seen!

    Once again The Mavericks delivered a solid, totally awesome evening of superb entertainment! Raul's incredibly awesome voice brought me to shivers on several of his songs. I have seen the Mavericks 5 times now and they never fail to deliver! I hope to see them at least another 5 times! Thanks for coming to Edmonton!

    A class act. So multi talented that it is a must to see and hear. Consummate entertainers and gents. And a whole lit if fun. 3 times now through the years and still they send the tunes and vibes coursing through the system.

    Great music, great atmosphere. The Jube is still a great Venue. Although I am a Fan of Los Lobos, The Mavericks carried the day. Raul Malo can still Belt Out a Tune. They are awesome musicians. Kelly Preston was okay. She will be better when somebody else is writing her tunes. Her voice is great but the material left a lot to be desired.

    Loved The Mavericks concert! Very talented back up musicians that enhanced the experience. Having Los Lobos cancel was disappointing but the show was amazing.

    The light show when directed at the audience was not only a distraction, it was painful for those who get headaches. STOP flashing and pointing LIGHTS at the AUDIENCE. The lights on the band created a great atmosphere. Music was great - syncopated rhythms, favourites and the new songs.

    One of the best shows I’ve seen in a long time. Great vocals as always from Raul Malo. Loved the horn section. I’d see the concert over and over if I could. Superb musicianship

    The Maverick concert was exceptionally staged. The show started with a flair that did not diminish for the whole 1 hour 50 minutes. The musicians were incredibly talented. And of course, Raul Malo's voice was as compelling as ever. The aspect of the show that I think all audience members picked up on was that the musicians seemed to be enjoying themselves as much as their audience.

    The Maverick’s gave an outstanding performance. Loved the variety of songs and the energy from every member of the band. It was a disappointment that Los Lobos we’re not able to perform.
