  • The Music of Queen was outstanding

by paparues on 2015-12-02Sony Centre For The Performing Arts - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

What a show! The singers had incredible voices, taking us through a history of Queen's music, the guitarists' were awesome and the orchestra accompaniment put the music over the top! The finale was worth the price of admission! And the venue is incredible! If I had one complaint, it is that their music warrants getting up out of your seat and dancing but we all know what audiences are like in Toronto, god forbid you enjoy yourself!

  • The Music of Queen- Poor tribute to a genius band

by Agustina on 2015-11-30Sony Centre For The Performing Arts - TorontoRating: 2 out of 5

The orchestra did not sound good at all. And although the singers were great, they lack personality in the stage, to the point that it sound like a karaoke performance.

  • The music of Queen

Poor is the best I can rate this show. There was no flow to the singers nor was there any energy displayed by the singers until the last few songs. There were 4 singers and one at a time they would appear at the center of the stage, talk, sing and walk back waiting for the next singer. Friends we went with described it as reminding her of tiny talent time. 4 people seated next to us left at intermission and numerous others left at the same time. Maybe all the empty seats at the start of the show was an indication of what was to follow.

Not what I expected but it was still good. Excellent singers.

  • Disappointed

the orchestra & band were great but the signers didnt cut it.. couldnt inderstand one word the blonde sang although she performed well. queen is a hard act to follow! no one came close to Freddie Mercury's voice!! lots of lagging between songs, took away from professionalism of the show. overall.. ok but too pricy for that show.

  • The Music of Queen--okay

by Fraulein on 2011-01-23Progress Energy Center's Mahaffey Theater - St PetersburgRating: 4 out of 5

We attended a somewhat similar concert in Calgary Alberta in the summer-the group portraying Queen were from Australia-they were awesome-we went to see this show hoping it would be as good--we were a bit disappointed as the "Queen"songs were interspersed with other music---I must admit the guitar player was superb and Brody singing Freddy Mercury was very good
