About

The Offspring are a punk rock band from Garden Grove, California. Led by founding member, lead vocalist and guitarist Dexter Holland since 1986, The Offspring have released 11 studio albums and sold over 40 million records globally. The band’s self-titled debut arrived in 1989, followed by 1992’s Ignition and 1994’s Smash. Behind breakout Mainstream Rock Airplay singles “Come Out and Play,” “Self Esteem” and “Gotta Get Away,” Smash went on to sell over 11 million records, earn six RIAA platinum certifications and set the record for the highest-selling album released by an independent label. Ixnay on the Hombre in 1997 notched The Offspring’s first No. 1 single on the Mainstream Rock Airplay chart with “Gone Away,” while 1998’s Americana hit the band’s chart peak at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 on its way to netting five RIAA platinum certifications and three more Alternative Airplay Top 10 singles: “The Kids Aren’t Alright,” “Pretty Fly (For a White Guy)” and “Why Don’t You Get a Job?” The Offspring later topped the Alternative Airplay chart again with “Hit That” from 2003’s Splinter and “You're Gonna Go Far, Kid” from 2008’s Rise and Fall, Rage and Grace. The Offspring logged two more Mainstream Rock Airplay chart-toppers with “Coming for You” and the title track from 2021’s Let the Bad Times Roll. In 2024, The Offspring released their 12th album Supercharged

  • Offspring was awesome

    by offspringfan666 on 2009-07-31Molson Amphitheatre - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

The Offspring concert was really good. They played most of the songs, esspecially a lot of their really good older songs. All in all, i would come back for another concert by them.

  • Offspring Rocks!

The Offspring concert truly rocked. The sound quality was really good; I just wish it was louder!

  • Offspring keep it comming!

by Hemstock on 2009-07-29Molson Amphitheatre - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

This was an awesome show. Pennywise opened and got the energy going for Offspring which really helped to set the tone for the event. I was surprised to see the Offspring much more "mature" than years ago, but the sound was much better than years ago as well. I recognized every song on the setlist and enjoyed the energy at the molson amphitheatre. I would definately go to see them again in concert the next time they are around. I hope to be on the floor next time and be able to really giv'er.

  • Offspring: Here for a good time, not a long time.

by GentleBen on 2009-07-28MTS Centre - WinnipegRating: 4 out of 5

Overall I enjoyed this concert a great deal, I had never heard of either of the opening acts, and was pleasntly surprised at how awesome they were. The Offspring rocked like they always do, my only complaint is they didn't play long enough, you could tell most of the crowd was pretty dissapointed. I was shocked when they left the stage for the first time, happy when they came back for the first encore, and not real happy when they left the stage for good. The Offspring is and continues to be my favorite band of all time, I just don't know why they short changed us in Winnipeg a bit time wise, I have seen them play longer elsewhere.

  • Offspring was SICK!!!!!

by THEBIGD on 2009-07-28Molson Amphitheatre - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

Such a great show. The band never stoped till the end of the show. They played all the classics and lots of new ones as well. Will for sure see them again in the future.

  • It's a must!

  • The Offspring show was a ton of fun.

by Mikcs on 2009-07-28Molson Amphitheatre - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

Incredible energy from both the band and the crowd. Excellent setlist. I'm glad the Toronto audience text-voted for them to play Meaning of Life - probably the best choice out of all the songs. The band also limited the number of songs off of Conspiracy of One (1) and Splinter (1) and played lots of favourite classics (Bad Habit, Come Out And Play, Gotta Get Away, All I Want, Americana (amazing!) and, of course, Self-Esteem). Can't wait 'til they come back.

  • freakin' awesome

Great show from start to finish. Audience was right into the show. The Offspring have the tunes to entertain the whole sha-bang

  • Fabtastic

by Nickalishus on 2009-07-27Molson Amphitheatre - TorontoRating: 4 out of 5

They can still rock that’s for sure. It was a mixed crowed, young and old, but everyone was there to have a good time and they did. The setlist was fantastic. All the essential songs, the fans even got to vote "via text messaging" on some of the songs the guys were going to play. The stage setting was nothing spectacular, but it was bright, colorful with images from their videos to the Offspring logo aflame. Rocking good time had by all.

  • Yet another amazing show by The Offspring!!!!

by Saubyah on 2009-07-27Molson Amphitheatre - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

The Offspring Rock!!! Dexter looked and sounded the same as he did 10 years ago and the show was just amazing!!!! The light effects were insane!!!! He played every song I wanted to hear..... especially my fav of all time.... Self Esteem!!!! The Amphitheatre is my favourite venue for concerts and Offspring surely did not disappoint! The only beef I had was with the obsessive security guards who would not let people dance in the aisles... those dudes had issues!!!!

  • Offspring was stellar!

  • Offspring rocks!

by EdgarC on 2009-07-27Molson Amphitheatre - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

The band did great on stage! Unfortunately, they did not play some old hits that I really like: Hit That or Original Prankster. Anyhow the show was great, definitely will attend to the next ones!
