Great sound from the guys! Nicely done! Good tribute.
The sax player was amazing, but it was just a cover band, I was very disappointed by the merch booth as well as the over all show. The lights and such didnt blow me away and there was no flying pig. Overall it was only a cover band, it was something to do on a thursday night really.
The band playing the music was okay, loved the bass player's solo, thought the sax player was too into himself. I would of loved a lot more of their better known music, it was like they thought everyone was still on an acid trip.
there was no delay as to start time.. at precisely 7:30 they danced onto the stage.. The very talented guy who played the saxophone was amazing. not only did he play the sax, he played the guitar and keyboards too..and sang.. These six band members were fantastic.. thoroughly enjoyed the entire concert, each and every song...
Most enjoyable. These guys are pros. Sax player blew everyone away.
Hi there I was so looking forward to this event based on my interest in Pink Floyd and the reviews about the folks putting this event on. I didn't make it to Roger Waters in June who came to Vancouver so I thought this would be a suitable replacement. Wow was I wrong!! I only knew 6 of the 15 songs and there wasn't really any "experience" involved. They had lousy effects as well. I've never left a concert before the encoure but I did this time and no flying pig in the audience!! Turns out the pig was let loose during the encoure!!
I bought two tickets for my husband & 14 year old son, they had great seats. They both said it was good. My son thought it was really neat & enjoyed it, he loves the album Pink Floyd.
I saw the pink floyd experience the other day in abbotsford. I was not entirely unhappy with them, but they didn't really impress me either. Their instrumentation was done well, presentation also, their setlist could do with some major change. My major dissapointment was not that they pale in comparison to the true pink floyd but that they pale in comparison to some the other pink floyd cover bands(australian pink floyd). to be honest they would be ok at a small festival or community event but were certainly not worthy of such a large venue and high ticket price. all in all I'd like a refund
Thought the sound was decent, musicians talented and lights OK. That being said could not get past the fact it was six guys doing someone elses music. Consider myself a Pink Floyd fan but thought some of the material a little obscure. Would have personally preferred more of a "greatest hits" setlist out of a show like this. Sax Player had some chops and the bass player threw down a nice solo.
The musicians where very talented and tight together as a band. I thought they played too much of the early years. The video show or PowerPoint was lame in my eyes. For the price of the ticket I was disappointed, Floyd music is not that easy to reproduce and these guys did do a great job.
PINK FLOYD - Verbatim & Unbelievable Sound! Everything was exactly like listening to your favourite Pink Floyd songs with the best sound and recording equipment around!
This was a great concert - the musicians were fantastic.
Great show, expected more laser/lights though, music was good.
My son asked for the concert for his 39th birthday and his sister and I were right on top of it. They have enjoyed Pink Floyd music since they were young and we had all gone to see Pink Floyd at the Stadium 18 years ago! This band did a fabulous job of bringing back old great memories and there we were the Three Muskateers singing along with the oldies but goodies. Great eveing with my kids. Good music, loved the sandalwood incense to bring me right back to sixteen years old!!
the bassist was incredible...as was his solo.......all the other were great too
Missed the flying pig and some of the better light show but the music was what counted and it was spot on. As close as we are going to get to a Pink Floyd concert. A classic from the get go. 2 hours of music one 20 min. break.
The music was great, one of the singers was eh, but other than that it was very good. The Flying pig did not show, that was sad. The Bass player and Sax man were awesome. Over all enjoyable
Awesome job! Great sound, great songs, and fantastic vocals!
Great mixture of lesser known and popular radio Floyd music. Enjoyed the show a ton, looking forward to their return.
Sonic journey , a couple to many deep tracks , mixing could of warmed up the bottom end all in all a good show
