Was in town for a meeting and found out about this concert. Always liked Stephen Stills. The combination with Kenny Wayne Shepherd was dynamite. They seem to have really good chemistry. The venue was great, too.
Flew down from Canada specifically to see this band and glad I did! These guys were tight as you would expect from such seasoned pros. The fact that the audience was on their feet at least half the time says, and brilliant playing by Stephen and Barry. The stellar standout numbers were the Stills penned "Can't Get Enough of Loving You", Goldberg's "I've Got To Use My Imagination" and the encore, "Young's "Rocking In The Free World" brought the house down.
Saw the Rides Fri night at the Michigan Theater in Ann Arbor and is was a great show. They played music from their 1st cd and their new release and a mix of old classic blues tunes as well as CSN and KWS band.
