An Amazingly good show... exceeded my expectations

by FanACL on 2017-11-11Southern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - Calgary

You had us at the opening number, Sounds of Silence. The harmony was very well done and you would be hard pressed to tell the difference. It was as if we were attending an Simon and Garfunkel concert. I knew every song but two and loved it. The banter with the audience was good and humor filled. I like the band solo of the Paul Simon songs and would have love more of his music as well. A great show and well worth the money.

by Gabika on 2017-11-11Hard Rock Casino Vancouver - Coquitlam

excellent show, performed most if not all the Duo hits. the singer playing Art actually looks like him, their voices are the very similar to those of Paul and Art

    Amazing Harmony

by purplemom on 2017-11-11Southern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - Calgary

We enjoyed the show, guys singing did an amazing job - sounded like the originals! I think I expected more story woven in (eg Jersey boys) but their style is different, more low key. I would recommend it to anyone from that era who grew up listening to their music.

Feelin Groovy in YYC not NYC

by Atee on 2017-11-10Southern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - Calgary

We missed seeing the real Simon & Garfunkel live a few year ago due to Art's illness and show cancellation. So this tribute show is the next best thing. And the show was great - well performed by two classy talented artists filling in for Paul & Art. Their persona was spot on - as I would like to think of the real Paul and Art - but having never met them. The accompanying band was very good and combined with the sound friendly Jubilee Auditorium, helped to make the songs true to the originals. The story of these two music icons was well told, but a bit sanitized, not really getting into any of the rougher dynamics of their relationship. But alas, this is a lighter hearted story of two people who will always be a warm part of our memories of songs, youth and rebellion.

    Near Look-alikes

by Falene on 2017-11-10Southern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - Calgary

The songs were great flashbacks for me. Brought back a lot of great memories. Projections on the screen were nostalgic. Added to the times when the hit songs were played. One down side was the music could have been a little softer. Too loud some times, especially the base. Took away from the singing. After all we were there for the songs, not the music itself. Jublilee Auditorium was a perfect setting.

    Simon and Garfunkel was fantastic

by mi5can on 2017-11-10Southern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - Calgary

The songs in the first half kind were not known to me. The second half was fantastic. Wish they played Call me Al.

    Simon and Garfunkel Story

by CaptRon on 2017-11-10Southern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - Calgary

Good show, enjoyed this interpretation, but just really like the music. Only issue was the use of mist. It caused me breathing discomfort that lasted over 24hrs. I think this was WAY overdone.

    A wonderful tribute show

by karatemum on 2017-11-10Southern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - Calgary

I did not read any reviews of this show or revisit any of the music before the show. I was absolutely blown away by the waves of nostalgia that flowed over me as the story of this famous folk duo was played out so well on the stage. The band was amazing and I could definitely feel that they were all "channeling" the real pair of singers.

    Enjoyable evening of reminiscing.

by Hebble on 2017-11-10Northern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - Edmonton

This is a great show about the history of Simon and Garfunkel. They played some of the lesser known music which made the journey even more interesting, while mixing in the right amount of the classic hits. Their harmonies where very nice and they captured the feeling very well.

Was surprise how much they sounded like Simon and Garfunkel. They had a lot of stats about the duo but really no stories. Did enjoy.

Great voices - stage presence - not so much

by lovethosemusicals on 2017-11-10Southern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - Calgary

The voices were fantastic. Bridge Over Troubled Water coming at the end of the show - amazing job. I didn't feel like either performer was particularly engaged with the audience. They said all the right things, but it felt rote, automatic,.....not truly meant.

    A Walk Down Memory Lane

by Roatanbabe on 2017-11-10Southern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - Calgary

This show did not disappoint. They performed all the familiar songs and a couple not quite so familiar. Stage presence was upbeat and musicians were professional and very talented. Enjoyed the screen show behind the performers - brought back lots of memories. Nice to have a story line as the show progressed.

    Great Night Out

by CJR1 on 2017-11-10Southern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - Calgary

They sounded great. They played favourites and a few obscure tunes that made you remember how great the harmonies were. I would see them again in a heart beat.

    Simon & Garfunkel story

by cautiouskathy on 2017-11-09Northern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - Edmonton

The show was billed as the Simon and Garfunkel story however I expected way more of a story and more songs. The voices were absolutely amazing.

    Simon &Garfunkel Story was appropriate

by MommJoma on 2017-11-09Northern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - Edmonton

The Story shared many special moments that we did not know about Simon and Garfunkel. The reason for each song like “Kathy” were not known to me. I was unaware that they were originally “Ben and Jerry”. The men who starred were very good and showing off the backup players was great as well, especially the drum solo.

    WAY better than expected

by shelshocked on 2017-11-09Northern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - Edmonton

This band is very impressive and the vocalists are fantastic...I mean FANTASTIC. A little pricey but more affordable once the 20% sale went on. Having seen the show now I am very happy with what I paid and am glad I went. I would have missed and EXCELLENT show. Well done!!! The only thing I'd want is more volume. Sound was good but not loud enough.
