    Hidden Radiohead Jam

    by Woody on 2023-07-18

No hits but a bunch of songs more or less sounding like the guitar era (The Bends, Ok Computer) very guitary set list. Back to rock and roll, les experimental even though as the tour progresses, some jams, sounds expiriments …were flashy. Must have been 80% musicians in the stands! Fun to see the band having fun again… Go see this concert like if you were going to see the band playing their B-sides… for an hour and a half!!!

spectacle spectaculaire, juste assez intime, son parfait , salle la bonne grandeur, la place bell encore mieux que le centre bell , facile a stationner , moins cher, plus propre, les artistes etaient incroyable

    Amazing!

by Marco on 2022-11-28MTELUS - Montreal

First, I have never witnessed a lineup so long to get in to Metropolis; it went all the way to de Maisonneuve Boulevard! Crazy! Once inside, we saw the place was packed. We were able to get close enough to the stage, nonetheless. I'd rather not say much about the opening act. Good sax player, and sounded good when he joined The Smile, but his music was not my cup of tea. The Smile was great! It was amazing to see Them and Johnny is a small venue. It was fun to see them all play different instruments. They're a well-oiled machine, man! It all flowed seamlessly. The sound was really good, as was the light show. I think my favourite parts of the show was when they played unreleased material. If those songs are any indication, the next album will be stellar! I kinda wish they saved that stuff for Radiohead. The only thing I did not enjoy, and it has nothing to do with the band, is this new idea of not having a physical copy of the ticket. At least give me the option of printing one at home.

Great show that would have been much better if that Evenko big shot wasn't talking all the way through right beside me.

Fantastic band in an awful venue

    by K. on 2022-11-28MTELUS - Montreal

I had been waiting for years to get to see Thom Yorke on stage and was really happy to finally get the chance. Great band, great musicians. On the other hand, the MTelus is not ageing well. It looks dirty and cheap, even under dimmed lights and the camera and the video system they use to broadcast what’s happening on stage is laughable: small screen, out of focus most of the time, visible dirt on the screen, colors completely off but hella distracting. I will be avoiding that venue in the future. Kudos to the security trying to extort 50 bucks for a private lounge due to the lack if sitting.
