Awesome concert!!! Volbeat sounded amazing!!!!! Love them, his voice and their sound! Cannot wait to see them again! Danko Jones was wicked awesome as well!!! It was amazing having a band like them play in Edmonton!
I love Volbeat!! Saw them last summer at the Boonstock Music Festival, so I was stoked to see them play a full set this time!! They have never disappointed me! Even my boyfriend was blown away and he was never really a Volbeat fan, until he saw them live!!
All of everything was great minus the line up for beer I missed all of Danko Jones due to waiting for beer which I don't mind missing that band but to wait for 45 minutes to an hour for a drink is a buzz kill!
Fantastic performance. High quality band who knows how to play to the crowd and stick to their roots as well! From covering the Misfits 'Angelfuck' to old school rock and fucking roll '16 Dollars'!!! AWESOME!
The overall show was excellent, Volbeat were just killer. There sound was good and loud and the band played excellent together (very tight, good setlist). The only downfall was the Venue. There were no seats at all, so having to stand for 5 plus hrs just sucks, and you had to line up to buy tickets for Beer and then stand in a separate line to actually get a Beer. Between buying tickets and getting a Beer you were looking at 2hrs at least. There was even a half hour line up for the bathroom!!. I will never go to the Shaw again. But Volbeat were Awesome!!
Good music and great time. Only problem no seating had to stand all night made for a long show when you stand for 5 hours.
Five Finger Death Puch Kicked Ass...Again!!! They start and finish with the same explosive energy. They never dissapoint this middle aged mom of 4. I could look at Ivan and Zoltan all day!!!!lol.
This was the second time to see five finger and both times they have stolen the show, one of the very few bands that can sound even better live than recorded. Overall it was an amazing show and I wont pass up another chance to see them in the future, I have no doubts that in the next decade or 2 they'll be the metallica of my generation.
Five finger was a blast, the sound the stage the venue the band was all up to par and beyong, only draw back was the bar, way too busy. these guys are amazing, great stage presents and presentation... deffinately a must see
