Went to the concert yesterday with my 4 year old granddaughter, my 6 year old grandson and my daughter (my other granddaughter couldn't make it). The Wiggles were very entertaining and I must thank the one in the red shirt who made the effort and climbed up to the very top row where we were sitting to waive and speak to all the children. The children were very excited about that. I have to say that the sound was not good - speakers pointing straight out so it was hard to hear what they were saying on the sides - we were in Aisle 103 Seats 1, 2, 3 and 4 on the very top row (didn't realize we were so high up when I booked the tickets). The speakers could have been angled so people on the sides close to the stage could make out what they were saying. These seats so close to the side of the stage were not good. There were empty seats in aisles across from us lower down - I think probably about Aisles 117-118 not sure. The seats we had were useless for small children - too high - We did put their seats up so they could dance but seat 1 was right at the top of the aisle stairs (we were in the highest row - so we couldn't let anyone stand up there as they could have fallen all the way down. The people who were in the next 4 seats to us with small children - 4 seats to the right of us - moved somewhere else. It cost $206.00 for 4 seats and in this day and age I suppose that isn't bad but it is a lot of money, however, my two grandchildren did seem to enjoy it.
Very entertaining!!! Hope they will come to Vancouver more often. My 2 years old enjoyed the show very much.
We took our 2-year old son. He was mesmerized from beginning to end. His Mom and I had a fantastic time as well. These guys put on a better show than a lot of 'grown-up' bands.
The Wiggles were worth it the time, money and trouble it took to get our two kids to see them. Not only do they sing, dance, and perform amazing acrobatics they truly enjoy what they are doing and it shows.
This show is consistent with the high quality that I've come to expect from The Wiggles. The music, stagecraft, and variety of performances made for a wonderful evening. Furthermore, The Wiggles seem to truly be enjoying themselves as evidence by their light-hearted banter. This provides a jovial and entertaining atmosphere that the adults can appreciate as much as the children.
The concert was great....my kids were dancing the whole time!!!
Most HORRIBLE kids show ever! We have taken our kids to all the popular acts that come to Vancouver (i.e. Backyardigans, Doodlebops, etc.). This was the worse show - poorly choreographed, very boring for kids and parents alike. We left half way through as did many other families.
These guys are truly talented.....The wowed the kids from beginning to end and even kept us adults entertained.....So proud that are from Down UNDER...We have some true Aussie TALENT! Thanks GUYS!
The best show I have seen in a long, long time! I would go again in an instant! (My husband and daughter loved it as well!)
Too much of the cheap acrobatic stunts, more stage time with the characters would be better.
| took my 3 years old son to the show. we danced, song along and enjoyed a lot. I want to thank every single person on the stage. Seemed that all the kids were enjoying themselves. The only thing is that we were on the last row 21 at the top. So we couldn't hear clearly. the sound system wasn't good at all. We had to come down on the floor so that my son could enjoy the show fully.
My 30 month old son had a blast. I don't think I have ever seen him smile or laugh and dance so much in his life. I would definately go to another Wiggles show and can't wait for them to come back again. It was very lively and entertaining.
Great concert, children loved it. Well worth the money!
Awesome! My son loved every minute and so did I !
Every component of entertainment - exceptional!!!
We saw the Wiggles at the UBC Thunderbird Stadium on Oct 9, 2009. My two year old daughter really enjoyed the show, as well as I did too. The acrobats were fun to watch and the music was great. The only problem we had was understanding what was being said. We were in the bleacher section and the voices came over very unclear and echoey. I have encountered this before when talking is at an arena venue. Luckily thought the singing was good, maybe because we knew the words? From where we were we couldn't make out complete details but got the overall jist of everything on stage. When the two gymnast men came out near the end of the show and they had on tank tops and I could make out the one guys very defined arms, I was amazed. I thought if I can see the muscles defined from that distance, what would they look like up close :)
Very much worth every penny. Make sure you bring your camera. I wish we did. I was also impressed that all of their merchandise was inexpensive.
Excellent show.........kids loved it and were very excited.
I really got to enjoy watching the Wiggles through the eyes of my three years old daughter. I probably had as much fun as she did. I think the guys are doing a wonderful job. My daughter would NOT last through any other event the way she did through their concert.
