We saw the Wiggles lastnight with our 3 & 6 year old children, Although our three year old was mesmorised by the lights and the popcorn, the rest of the show was somewhat average and unpolished, It was in excess of $200.00 for my family of 4 to go and I expected more. Sorry Wiggles :(
Even though they started a little late, it was a great show. They sang all the old favorite's which my daughter loves and some new as well. The acrobatics was excellent. We really enjoyed the show. The only thing is, they didn't do their signature medley finish. Never the less well worth it. Maybe next time they can come over to Victoria!

The Wiggles, their friends and the Wiggly dancers put on a terrific, family-friendly show. The kids were all captivated, dancing in the aisles was encouraged. Captain Feathersword seemed to be having a particularly good time! Special thanks to Dimitri (former Russian Olympic gymnast), who took our bouquet of roses and promised my 4 yr old daughter he'd deliver them to her personally right away - and he did, leaping on to the stage, flipping onto his hands, gripping the bouquet in his feet and presenting them to Dorothy! My daughter was so excited she was certain Dorothy was taking them backstage to make rose tea right away! Thanks for making our day, Dimitri! The venue itself, however, was terrible! Very inaccessible, terrible parking, LOTS of stairs and walking (not stroller-friendly and not very conducive to little ones who can't walk far or fast!). Why would they book it at UBC's Thunderbird Dome? Terrible place! Better to pick a more centralized venue that has more than ONE single-lane road leading to and from it! We were all late - most people, due to traffic tie-ups and poor parking location just trying to get in to the venue, were coming in late. Would have been nice if they'd delayed the start time a bit to accomadate the MANY latecomers. Perhaps they already did, but we were so late! Also, the floor staff were not that friendly - the Wiggles encourage the kids to come close to the stage and dance (as long as mom and dad keep an eye on them) so don't discourage my 2 year old from getting closer or expect him to DUCK as he walks - he's only 2 and hasn't been walking for very long! Sheesh! In spite of the location, and the staff, the Wiggles and their crew were fantastic! I'd definitely see them again, but not at that location! Someone tell their booking staff to avoid UBC next time!
Wiggles at Thunderbird Arena 630pm show. The wiggles were amazing, as per my expectations. I can hardly believe the tumbling that these guys do....they aren't spring chickens anymore! Lots of dancing, singing and all around silliness that you expect. What I didn't expect was to get into the show a half hour late, due to crazy parking/traffic situation at UBC. I had allotted myself double the time to get there, and still got in late. Which meant we missed Toot Toot Chugga Chugga, Big Red Car....that sucked. Then we get in, and the seats are poorly marked on the floor. Venue aside, the show was fantastic, and I'd take my kids again for sure! (even if the price of the tickets are a bit steep....)
I thought that the event was pretty awesome for a children's concert. The Wiggles were entertaining and personable....they had Murray and Sam walk among the audiences that didn't have floor seats and the show itself was actually very acrobatically in nature. The only complaint I have is that I was expecting more newer songs, because the tour was touted as "Go Bananas" and I thought maybe the concert would have more songs from that video. In saying this, all the songs they did perform were a lot of kids' favourites and they were good enough to leave sticker books for kids sitting on the floor seats. The biggest bonus I found was that they allowed people without floor seat tickets to come down into the floor area with their kids and enjoy the show from there or from the empty seats not sold on the floor area. Again, I would totally recommend this for anyone who is a Wiggles fan!
The Wiggles are so incredibly talented. They are so professional and they truly make it all about the kids. I wish they'd have sung the "Shimmy Shake" song but other than that, I have nothing negative at all to say about the show. I can't believe the physicality of the show. They're in great shape! Even though we bought the most expensive tickets so we could be on the floor, I think it's wonderful that they provide a wide range of options for ticket prices to make it accessible to all families. Good for them. This is a great show for children. Don't miss the next time they come to Vancouver!
Good concert, although the go bananas tour didn't make much sense as the set was set up like a cirus act. Maybe they changed their act halfway through their tour as people were getting angry that they weren't singing any of the wiggles classics. They sang many of everyones fav's with a few newer ones thrown in! Sam has a great voice and all of the guys were lots of fun to watch.
Could not speak too highly of the Wiggles Vancouver 3pm Fri Oct 9th show. It was entertaining, lots of music, dance and laughter and quality entertainment. The show was long but not too long. One Wiggle main character came up each aisle in the whole staduim so each child good see them close. It was excellent. They are professionals and very good at what they do but they come across so down to earth and nice. It was a performance that was well polished and multilayered but real and a lot of effort and talent and personality was displayed.

Absolutely wonderful to see my child's favorite DVD's come to life. Seeing them in person for her was as exciting as Christmas!! There were lots of children dancing & singing in their seats, including mine. Definately recommended to any parent to take their kids if The Wiggles come to your town.
My son and I had a great time as did my seven month old daughter. Money well spent. Wish it was a longer concert though. The time went by so quickly ...as the saying goes time flies when you are having fun!!!
My 4.5 year old son says that 'those Wiggles are very fun! I love you, Wiggles!' He would like to see them again
Overall a Pretty good event. We were sitting in section 114 around row 20, and we still had a good view of the stage. The show was pretty interactive, with Joe (?) and Murray coming out into the crowd. The only one downside, was the fact that the volume on the sides of the arena were a bit too low. It was hard to hear what the Wiggles were saying on stage.
The show was amazing. The kids loved it and there was even entertainment for the adults! They had gymnasts performing alongside the Wiggles. It was like Cirque du Soleil Wiggles style! Anthony, Jeff and Captain Feathersword even got in on it! These guys are in fantastic shape! We will definitely go next time they're here!
This was my 2 year-old son's first "rock" concert and we all had a wonderful time as the Wiggles are very entertaining to watch. Their appeal is being able to keep the audience engaged while interacting with them - they truly do make the toddlers believe that they are singing to them in particular. Their music is pretty good for childrens' music and I thought it was even funny how my hubby was singing along to their song. The dancers they had on stage were entertaining and eye-catching - it was definitely a good concert both to children and adults. These guys are successful for a reason and it's because their formula works - not a day goes by that my child doesn't request to hear their music or watch their DVD. It was my son's bday present to go see them in concert and he anticipated every moment of it and was amazed to be watching them live - he LOVED it and still talks about them now the day after. It was a good concert and I would go see them again if they come again to Vancouver.
Had $40.00 seats for 6 people and the seats were 3/4 of the way up the stands. The sound was very poor, therefore no one could even participate in anything that was going on. There was alot of frustration with all the people sitting around us. It was more like a gymnastic show and the kids kept asking where the real Wiggles were. We have seen other Wiggles Shows and this one was most disappointing. Definitly not worth the $400.00 for the evening!

The Wiggles put on a great show for children of all ages. We had 2 Toddlers with us, who danced, laughed and clapped for most of the show, and actively paid attention for at least an hour (Amazing!). The music wasn't too loud like other concerts, the theater attendants let the kids run around and All the parents were exhausted at the end! I will do it again in a heart beat!
