My grandson and I went to the show and it was wonderful! The colors, story, cast, was over the top. My grandson sat stone still through the entire show. A 7 year old enjoyed it so much he was thrilled! Everyone should see THE WIZARD OF OZ.
What a magical way to start the Christmas Season. The acting was awesome, the stage settings amazing. Our 8 year old granddaughter was enthralled the whole evening and can't wait for another play to come to the Jubilee so we can go again. Thank-you for an wonderfull evening.
The show was okay. Dorothy had a good voice, just our seats were bad because we had a child and couldn't see the play because there were 2 adults in front of us that were pretty tall - obstruction view
AWESOME! My daughter and I loved this performance.
We loved the Wizard of Oz. The costumes and set were great. It had the attention of both of my girls aged 7 and 4 for the entire show, especially since Toto was a real dog and not a prop. The songs and dancing were excellent.
My 5 year old daughter and I had brillant seats and thoroughly enjoyed the Wizard of Oz on Christmas Eve in th Jubilee. The acting was flawless, the singing great and the show was awesome overall. Cant wait til the next show wings its way into town :-)
A great production and wonderful cast. Really enjoyed the afternoon. Did not feel like I was there for 2 1/2 hours.
My 4 year old daughter LOVED it. It was very true to the movie (more than the book). I liked some of the artistic elements like the way the parts that took place in Kansas seemed black and white just like the movie.
Wow! Perfect casting for this one! What an amazing production! Sets, props, costumes, dancers, actors, singing - incredible! It was like being inside the original old movie! Just wonderful! Can't say enough superlatives about the evening! and dear little 'Toto' couldn't have been any better!
For young and old, a show well worth watching. Of all the shows I have seen this ranks in the top 2 as far as sheer entertainment. From myself at 44 to my daughter at 7, we were both on the edge of our seats. Highly recommended, value for your dollar.
Outstanding show. Dorothy's performance was just as endearing as Judy Garland's! Lion was a roaring success. All actors gave stellar performances. Set was minimal but extremely effective as were the special effects particularly when the tornado hit. As always, I'd welcome a break on the glossy brochures and merchandise at these events, particularly when the entertainment is family oriented. Nevertheless, we'll be back. A timeless classic!
Commendations: - Dorothy was talented and did a great job. - Lion was authentic and carried a considerable part of the musical - Having the children involved in the musical as munckins was very good Recommendations - The ochestra needs considerable enhancement. The audio soundtracks that were used to supplement the three-four? person orchestra made the audio portions of the performance sound less professional than one would expect for paying $75.00 a seat. - Set design and graphics need enhancement. - More supporting cast members are needed to contribute the overall sound and feel of the musical. - The parking at the Northern Jubilee is horrendous. The parkade is poorly designed and does not contribute to efficient traffic flow for exiting purposes. We waited for 30 minutes in the parkade and the exhaust fumes from the other vehicles were annoying.
It was an abslotuely incredible show! From start to finish everything was incredible; the singing, dancing, props, costumes!! I did not want the show to end! If I had the time and money I would go every night!
I went into the show having very high expections as I am crazy about the movie and was surprised when this broadway not only met my expectations but exceded them!! This show was really exactly like the movie but with better special effects and fantastic scenery. The whole show stayed very true to the origional skript and the singing was just as good if not better then the film. The dances were perfectly choreographed and all the lighting and music was even better. One of the things i was most impressed with was the elaborate scene changes that happed so quickly! I was also very impressed with this broadway's ablity to still surprise the audience despite us (well...me) knowing the show very well. If you love the origional movie you will love this even more! I would pay to see it again and I recomend it to everyone I talk to!
Actors where great, and the dancing was as good as anything you will see on Broadway...the venue was average and not suitable for a show of this quality. In fact the rumor was a lot of the special effects were not possible due to the venue.
Voices and acting was outstanding and the dancing was as good as anything you will see on Broadway in New York
It was a great night out with my nieces. They loved it and it was really well done.
The show was great, dialogue true to the original. One drawback, we had floor seats and it was FREEZING COLD being above the ice.
good acting and singing couldnt save the play due to poor set design, was disapointed not worth the 50 dollars per tick
It was far better then I could ever imagine........the effects......... I cannot think of a thing that could be improved on
