On a good note, the music and performers were amazing! The costumes and props were beyond fantastic. The problem with the show is that there were too many death scenes for toddlers - We go to events like this for a fun filled, happy, funny and entertaining show - watching Cimba's dad DIE and Captain Hook be KILLED and eaten by an alligator and Snow white "SLEEP" (my 4yr old asked why she died too??!) definitely not necessary for kids under 5 to be exposed to death without any preparation - had I known about these scenes, at least I could've explained them better. Even I did not care to repeat the death scences of my fav Disney movies, it turned FUN into sadness. Even though death is a major part of real life..I paid big money for the show and I wanted to laugh and enjoy music and dancing... if your child understands dying is a part of life...then go watch the show, otherwise, stay home. My son hadn't even seen those movies, we thought he'd just enjoy the dancing & music. A week later, he is still asking why Captain Hook was eaten??! It was definitely more geered towards girls, even though we picked Treasure Trove over the other Disney on Ice - he also kept asking where Lighting McQueen was because commercials on TV show McQueen. Boys like these shows too.
