About

Theory of a Deadman is the first Canadian rock band to sign with Nickelback frontman Chad Kroeger’s 604 Records. Since releasing their self-titled debut in 2002, Theory of a Deadman has blazed their own path with multiple-platinum albums in Canada, and 2008’s Scars & Souvenirs became one of their bestselling albums worldwide when it reached No. 26 on the Billboard 200 chart. Known for their rock anthems and introspective ballads, Theory of a Deadman have found success in Canada and abroad with chart-topping singles like “Bad Girlfriend,” “Rx (Medicate),” “Lowlife” and “History of Violence” — all of them topping Billboard’s Mainstream Rock Airplay chart. The Canadian rockers have toured worldwide with bands like Nickelback, Mötley Crüe, Bush, Shinedown and Skillet.

  • Theory was great!

by Burnsey on 2023-05-15Grey Eagle Event Centre - CalgaryRating: 4 out of 5

Love the no seat experience...come and go or move around without disturbing anyone and 90 mins isn't too long to stand. Having a bar inside the show area was awesome as you could get a bevy and not miss a song. Need more events there without seating.

  • Best night !!

by Hippiemomma on 2023-05-14Grey Eagle Event Centre - CalgaryRating: 5 out of 5

The staff at the venue were so helpful and friendly , the concert was so great I have no words really.. the only thing that I complained about was my feet because standing room only is hard on a 42 year old lol. All in all an amazing experience to be had with my daughter .

  • Amazing show

by Shauna on 2023-05-13Grey Eagle Event Centre - CalgaryRating: 5 out of 5

Had such a great night with friends. Theory of a dead man was amazing. Such a great show. It took a bit to move my work schedule so I could come see them. I would hope this doesn’t happen often.

  • Good band, but waaaay too loud.

by Timster on 2023-05-13Grey Eagle Event Centre - CalgaryRating: 2 out of 5

I get it that it should be loud, but when it actually hurts, and when it just sounds like one big noise (can't differentiate between the instruments), it is just unpleasant. We left early. As well, there was no seating at all. In all, not an enjoyable experience.

  • Theory put on a great show.

  • When did they become a cover band?

by Turk2003 on 2023-05-13Grey Eagle Event Centre - CalgaryRating: 3 out of 5

I have always loved theory of a deadman! I was throughly disappointed when I heard them play well over 10 cover songs!! You have 7 albums why can’t you play your own music instead of covers? I thot wow this cover band looks so much like the actual band….. lol there should have been maybe one of two covers less than five we’ll say. Your music is awesome STOP covering others and play your own music!! THATS WHY WE CAME TO YOUR CONCERT!!!

  • What a great time

  • Incredible Concert - Would See Again...and Again!

by Guin on 2020-03-03REBEL - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

Theory of a Deadman is incredible to see in concert. The audio is perfect, clear, and if you close your eyes, it's like listening to the album. I plan on seeing them every time they are in Toronto. Rebel was a perfect venue and very chill. It was great all around.

  • Amazing show

by Icebthprincess on 2020-03-03REBEL - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

Originally I wasn't going to get tickets because of a previous experience with the venue. However because it's TOAD I bought mezzanine level passes to see if the venue would be better. I managed to score VIP passes and let's just say meeting the band was exciting, even if I was anxious and nervous. The opener W3APONS did a good job and I've been pulled to wanting to hear more of them. But TOAD's performance was better than the last time I saw them. Theory is by far one of the best Canadian Rock bands and very entertaining! I was on my feet singing and dancing the whole time Theory was playing! I'm definitely excited for when I can see them again!
