    Thomas & Friends Live

by renew2 on 2011-03-21Sony Centre For The Performing Arts - Toronto

Thought the shows was great, although it could have been a little longer. I think for a children's afternoon theatre is was a bit expensive when you take a family of 3 or more.

    Thomas was amazing

by HappyMommyof2 on 2011-03-21Sony Centre For The Performing Arts - Toronto

My 2 year old son just love this show, he just sat and watched the entire show and did not want to leave. I was a little disappointed as it was the same show as I saw 3 years ago with my daughter in oshawa, but oh well was still amazing.

    Great day out!

by 1212two on 2011-03-21Sony Centre For The Performing Arts - Toronto

I took my 2-year old niece to see Thomas Saves the Day and we both enjoyed the show! The set and trains were great - you could tell there was a lot of money spent and it looked fabulous! The show was very interactive - the actors were animated, great with the kids, and there was plenty of singing and audience involvement. I did not give the performance 5 stars because of the intermission, which was a little long for little kids to sit through.

    Thomas Live was great

by Davina21 on 2011-03-21Sony Centre For The Performing Arts - Toronto

The show was great. We took our 3 year old son and he loved it (the light effects were his favourite). The signing & dancing was great and they did a good job getting the kids involved. My only complaint was that the intermission was too long. A lot of the kids started getting pretty antsy during the second part and I think they would have been better served by just going all out on the show and ending it after 1 hour.

    Excellent Performance

by 905milo on 2011-03-21Sony Centre For The Performing Arts - Toronto

I took my 3 yr old son to watch the show and needless to say he absoutly LOVED it. He couldnt take his eyes off the stage. Lots of singing dancing and interaction with the audience. In my opinion the only thing that they could have done better was choose songs that are more conmon in some of the TV epsiodes. I even found that they lyrics in the Thomas theme song were changed... I mean it didnt stop my son from dancing but I wish that the songs used would have been more familiar to them. Nevertheless it was a Great performance !!!!!

My 3-yr old son really enjoyed the show, and making the connections with the characters that he knows at home on TV and with his toys. Fantastic combination of mechanical and musical talent!

    Thomas entertains

by hensmom on 2011-03-20Sony Centre For The Performing Arts - Toronto

The show was fun for kids aged 2-4. It was long enough for the kids, but short enough for the parents. The cheese factor is high in this show, but the familiar songs and characters are great for the kids.

Thomas and Friends was very good.

by Anonymous on 2011-03-20Sony Centre For The Performing Arts - Toronto

The actors were absolutely delightful. The sound system was excellent. The costumes and the engines were excellent as well. The engines were just like the pictures in he books and on the internet. However, the intermission was too long. It could easily have been shortened by 5-10 minutes. The show was far too short. My grandson, who is 31/2 could have sat for another 30 minutes for sure. He loves Thomas! Also and even more important. although I adored the songs that the actors sang, there should have been more stage time for the engines, especially Thomas and Percy..The children ( and after all that's who we buy the tickets for) got restless when the actors started to sing and the engines were not coming out. Also the story line was not presented well. I think you should have showed the storm and the damage it caused, so that the children could understand what jobs the trains had to do for the Lantern Festival. They can't picture all the facts at this age.(3-5years).

Thomas & Friends Live on Stage was fantastic! The trains were life-like with the steam coming out of their engines. The songs were great where all the kids & parents can sing along & interact with each other. The balloons & confetti was a nice added touch. I was very pleased that there was an intermission in between for washroom & food breaks especially with having little ones. I would highly recommend Thomas & Friends Live on Stage for all who are huge fans Thomas the Tank Engine or those who just simply love trains. Overall, we would go again & again!

This Thomas show was my favourite!

by ThomasFan on 2011-03-20Sony Centre - Toronto

In the words of my 5 year old son: "I thought it was funny that when Percy was stuck in the tunnel, after, he said 'Thomas, you're my best friend!'. I liked that the engines could move their eyes, and they could move their mouth when they talked, and their wheels moved. I also liked the turntables. Recommended!"

    Thomas & friends

by brodie1 on 2011-03-20Sony Centre For The Performing Arts - Toronto

This show had a lot of potential but was spoilt by too many songs. The kids could have done with more of a story and more engines. Instead we got song after song and the kids were not interested in that they came to see the engines. It needs a little more imagination and wonderment less songs.

This was a great show. When we bought the tickets we weren't really sure how it could be done live but it was awesome. My 18 month old son was mesmerized through the whole show.

We loved this Thomas show. We had seen another one previously and enjoyed it as well but thought this one was the best. We would go back again in a second to see it a second time! Our whole family loved it (3 year old daughter, 4 year old son, and mom and dad).

    Thomas sings well known songs.

by JimboFrancis on 2009-07-16Fox Theatre Detroit - Detroit

The prolonged excitement at the start of the show for the first appearence of Thomas was excellent. People were on the edges of their seats to get a glimpse of him. They play had a good story and the singing and acting was very well done. The best thing about the whole show is the songs that were chosen to sing were songs that every Thomas lover would know. Everyone sang along to most.
