About

Three Days Grace established themselves as a global alt-metal powerhouse with the release of 2003’s “I Hate Everything About You.” Similarly darkly-layered anthems from the Canada natives like “Pain,” “Animal I Have Become,” “Chalk Outline” and “Never Too Late” propelled albums like One-X (2006) to the Top 5 on the Billboard 200. With the release of 2022’s “So Called Life,” off their seventh album, Explosions, Three Days Grace claimed their 17th No. 1 hit on Billboard’s Mainstream Rock Airplay chart, tying Shinedown for the record for the most No.1s in the chart’s history at the time. The Canadian rockers have toured with era-defining acts like Evanescence, Hoobastank, Staind and Breaking Benjamin, among others.

    One Guy's Opinion

by OneGuysOpinion on 2009-11-27Rexall Place - Edmonton

This concert was mediocre at best. Attendance was poor at the start. Default opened and seemed frustrated about the crowd as well as the blown speaker on stage. They only played about 5 songs and split. The Used had unused energy and spent it revving up the crowd. Although I had never even heard of them, I was thoroughly entertained. The lead singer is truly an entertainer of astronomical proportions. Three Days Grace was full of spirit. Even in the midst of a family emergency they still managed to pull off a most excellent performance. The reasons that I only gave this show 3 stars was between every act it took almost 30 minutes to rearrange the stage. To fans this seemed to look fairly disorganized. The sound quality was not the best. I have been going to concerts at Rexall Place for my whole life and every time I have left there deafened for several days. I hate to say it but I think that I played Three Days Grace louder in the truck on the way to the show. All in all I wouldn't recommend this show to others, not because of the artists or their music, but only based on technicalities. Thank you Default, The Used and Three Days Grace for performing in Alberta. Keep it up guys.

    3DG Awesme as Always

by esksgirl on 2009-11-27Rexall Place - Edmonton

Three Days Grace is one of those bands that is always great to see. They get the crowd involved and always play some of their old hits as well as the new. I will continue to see this band as long as they keep coming back to Edmonton! OPENERS: Default - it's always great to see a band you haven't heard much from in a while. Default was huge when I was in high school and have since disappeared a little bit music-wise. It was great to see them with some new material. The Used - I would've been happier if Default had a longer set list. These guys aren't my style and overall just gave me a bad headache.

Even better the 4th time live!!!!

    by Mike1983 on 2009-11-27Rexall Place - Edmonton

Concert was amazing. I was late so I missed Default, the used had an issue where you couldn't hear the guy singing so that part was brutal to listen to, but 3DG made up for it 10 times over.

    great live performance

    by miked2010 on 2009-11-27Rexall Place - Edmonton

Concert was great except for the immature teenagers in the crowd. We were being hit by objects thrown throughout the show - food / cups etc.

    Rock & Roll & Fire

by flipflop on 2009-11-27Rexall Place - Edmonton

Three Days Grace put on a FANTASTIC show. Love how they sound like they do on their cd's and how their sound is so clear. Nothing worse then going to a concert and the lyrics being all mumbled (like the used) A little disapointed that Default opened and only got to play for 30 minutes. Only got to hear two of their songs. The Used in my opinion was beyond horrible. The Used showed have been the first act. Their music is good, the singing needs help as do their sound quality. The Used singer was very rude. Made rude jokes and swore way to much. Its a Three Days Grace concert not death metal, theres younger kids who dont need to hear that. I was second level and could feel the fire from where i was sitting. Gotta love pyro and music together! Kinda reminded me of a Nickelback concert because of that and thats where i first seen TDG opening for Nickelback. Couldn't see the drum solo because of the speakers they were in my direct line of view, but sounded good ...Travis Barker style with the spinning ;) SOOOO happy they played lots of their old music from their first cd!! Made the concert for me
