So, so funny, and only makes fun of herself. Please come back to Toronto soon.
Amazing. Incredible. Effervescent. More words. It was just really good, wonderfully hilarious.
She had us laughing the entire time. My friend knew nothing of her and thought she was amazing as well. Worth twice as much!
I see a lot of comedians live & before I buy the tickets, I always think, "Would it be better to save my money and wait for the Netflix special?" I just love Tig, so I knew I wanted to see her in person, but I didn't expect it to bring me one of the Top 3 special nights in the theatre ever. Ever. We're talking in comparison to even Broadway shows that I've seen. Her brand of silliness and the way she has a conversation with the audience are so unique and special. Talking to the audience from backstage? Brilliant. I was giggling like an idiot already. During the part of the show where the audience was singing Piano Man accompanied by Tig -- who plays beautifully, by the way -- I just got a spine tingle because that moment was so bonding and heart-warming for the audience. I felt so privileged to be in that room. Before the show, Tig was one of my favourites along with John Mulaney and Mike Birbiglia, but now she's #1 to me. Tig has been through a lot in this life, but somehow, she is still joy.
Saw Tig's show in Ottawa this week and it was hilarious . They had the audience laughing from beginning to end. Totally worth the price of our tickets!
Tig continues to amaze. Great intro. Excellent audience interaction. Funny Canadian material. The audience's make believe lounge in Algonquin's beautifully build theatre.
