Tim Allen was very funny. Best comedy act i have seen in a long time
The 4 of us really enjoyed both Tim and Lowell but it was short. I understand that it is tough standing and spewing jokes solid for more an hour, but Lowell could have extended his presence too. Language as usual was a little off color, but I guess it was less than what you hear from the kids these days. Nice to be able to say we saw both. LOVED the clips from Tim's movies and shows. He has done a lot on big and small screen and has made himself a household name. Lowell was very funny too.
Tim started off doing stand-up comedy, and after 25 years he can still command a good laugh.
My husband I couldn't stop laughing! We also liked the first person that came out before Tim, he was great, If they came back to Casino Rama we would love to go again. Tim is a down to earth kind of guy despite all his fame. Next time I will bring kleenex as I was laughing so hard I had tears running down my eyes
started off slow but came alive about 10mins into performance. Had a great laugh
The intro to Tim was great. Clips from his movies and TV shows got the adrenaline flowing. I haven't laughed so much in a long time. Great show.
His warm-up act was wonderful. Disappointed in Tim. He started out slowly, followed by too many F-bombs and overall the material was dated; negative humour towards women = possibly funny 20+ years ago. If you want to perform Tim ... Write some new material.
Mr.Allen did a fabulous job!! He was halarious ! We would definitely buy tickets to see him again!
We saw Tim Allen both nights. We had the fortunate pleasure of meeting Tim. A true gentleman. I have wanted to meet Tim for 20+ years and it finally happened. I was absolutely star struck watching him on stage. he still has it and more. As a true fan being able to see him live was amazing. He has no reason to perform other than the love of performing. He has done TV, books and movies. I can assure you its not for the money. He did it for us fans. We are forever gratefull. It meant more to me than most because he spent time in my home city growing up as a young man and he mentioned London 3x in his act. We as fans feel a connection to Tim from Home Improvement. Myself I am a gear head car guy so I get him. I get all the jokes, I get his subliminal humar where he inserts car stuff, gadgets, more power, and his sincereity. He mentioned his family life, his thoughts and his loves of is life and hit the nail on the head with so many jokes. My girlfriend whom knows nothing about cars even got the jokes. He is an amazing man with so many talents. Has a heart of gold. Never forgot where he came from and appreciates his fans. This A list actor, commedian and author is amazing and never let the fame and fortune get to his head and remembers where he came from. I highly recommend to see him as its the best money spent. I would have paid double to see him. Thumbs up and the loudest grunt ever! Arrrrrgh! thanks Tim for the best night of my life!
It started a bit slow for me but as he went on he was like a car, going from 0 to 60 with a great finish. Loved it. Had tears in my eyes at the end. It was a great birthday present to me.
opening act way above par Tim a must see you wont be disappointed
Funny from start to end. We loved the show and we would def come back and watch him again.. Awesome night out!!!! And the opening act when hilarious too.
I guess I was expecting Tim the Tool Man Taylor and I got Tim Allen, the stand-up comedian. Yes, he had funny moments, very crude remarks, and would foreget what he was talking about.
My husband & I had great seats for this wonderful show. Both the opening act & Tim Allen were funny & put on enjoyable performances.
I wasn't expecting Tim Allen to be hilarious, so I was pleasently surprised by his performance. He got off to a slow start and gradually got more funny. Most jokes were good, some were okay, and a few fell flat. I really could have done without the farting jokes though.
It was my first time attending an event at the VENUE...overall it was ok. In a tent..what is that all about? If you are going to have acts like Tim Allen, Jay Leno etc...you NEED a nicer arena... Tim Allen...not very funny at first.. a bit disappointed...but overall it was ok. Disappointed though that he was only on for 1 hr...so in total1 hr and 15 minutes in the VENUE it self with the acts...very disapponted and mentioned it to my friends the next day. But is was nice to say I SAW TIM ALLEN in Edmonton..I hope he enjoyed his stay here...I think he is great in moveis....but stand up comedy....not that great.
It was good but he needed more new material less f bombs
The show didn't begin until well after 8:00 but Lowell Sanders, the opening act, was very good. Bought both his CD's I liked him so much. There were 6 of us at the show. We all agreed that Tim started off a bit slow but did eventually build up to full steam. We were all in stitches by the end. Only real complaint is that his show was much shorter than expected.
The evening was warmed up quite expertly by Lawrence Sanders, who proceeded to regale the crowd with well-received jokes. When Time came on, he started a bit slowly, then picked up speed and a crescendo of well-delivered punch lines. It was hilarious! A visiting friend and I were very impressed at his skills in role play and delivery.
Tim was very funny - my only complaint was that he was only on for an hour - kind of pricey for that amount of time
