Everything was just great. Alberta even won. Too little too late though for Alberta.

About
This will be the seventh time Calgary has played host to the Tim Hortons Brier, and the fourth time it’s been played at the Saddledome — the three previous visits to the Saddledome (curling capacity: approximately 19,000 seats) produced Alberta champions: Kevin Martin in 1997 and 2009, and Randy Ferbey in 2002. Calgary previously played host in 1948, 1961 and 1980.
The 1997 Brier featured the single-game attendance record for the event: 17,024.
The 2015 Tim Hortons Brier will also be notable as it will feature, for the first time, both a Team Canada entry — the winner of the 2014 Tim Hortons Brier in Kamloops, B.C. — as well as a pre-qualifying round that will determine the final 12-team field for the main round robin. Fifteen teams (the 14 Member Associations and Team) will be eligible to compete in the Tim Hortons Brier. Four teams will compete in the pre-qualifying round just before round-robin play begins to determine the final two entries. The format will be announced at a later date.

by Skid27 on 2013-03-09Rexall Place - EdmontonThe curling itself was an enjoyable event. The quality of the concession stands were very poor. Would have like to have seen more from Tim Hortons stands.

Rating: 4 out of 5by Tigster on 2013-03-07Rexall Place - Edmonton The Brier is a great event,as the curling was excellent. Seats are small & uncomfortable for the tall people.

by CurlingFreak on 2013-03-05Rexall Place - EdmontonFirst time at a live event and it was all an amazing experience. The patch was hopping and the up close and personal event was cool. Of course the curling was fun to watch in the stands with the fans.

Rating: 4 out of 5 Great Time at the Tim Hortons Brier
by Anonymous on 2013-03-05Rexall Place - EdmontonThe group of people I went with really enjoyed themselves. Our seats were great for the price we paid and we even got to know the people who sat around us. It made for a long day having the opening ceremony 3 1/2 hours before the first draw, but we were able to go check out everything in the concorse and walk around so it wasn't too bad. I'm looking forward to going back to watch another draw tonight

by bigJRfan on 2013-03-05Rexall Place - EdmontonOur main interest in that night was the Alberta (my wife) and Manitoba (myself). We both felt that it was a very interesting and well played game Good shots by both teams and the game could have gone eitherway Some of the other games were blowouts and not that exciting to watch. We are thinking of trying for more tickets before the end..
Rating: 4 out of 5 2013 Tim Hortons Brier - Draw 2 great event
by calrac on 2013-03-04Rexall Place - EdmontonI really enjoyed the event, Was well managed event, seating and view was good. One thing that I didn't like was a guy sitting behind me was taking a video and the customer service person politely asked him not to record videos and he argued, then security came and talked to the guy and they argued for about 8 - 9 mins. I thought the security should of asked him to come to the concourse area so not to intreupt the other spectators. I would think after 5 mins of arguing the security guard should if just kicked him out. There was a loud crowd near us which was cheering on the game so was not really a bother was kind of fun, but didn't enjoy the swearing, besides that the event was great.
Rating: 4 out of 5by Anonymous on 2013-03-04Rexall Place - Edmonton The Brier was a nice event to go to, good crowd, great fans, very skilled teams to watch, really nice view from our seats and an all around good show. I would love to go again if I get the opportunity.
