    Good, but foreseeable

by NiceNick on 2022-09-20Meridian Hall - Toronto

Great show overall, the venue was tight, wouldn’t want to be there for much longer then I was. I’m a big podcast listener, toms told most of his current hour over a few podcasts, so I was prepared for what was to come.

High jeans in a bad venue

by Kda on 2022-09-20Meridian Hall - Toronto

TOMMY BUNZ is the man! He was AMAZING, as always!!! And left nothing to be desired 😂 He is hysterical and a comedy god! Love the guy! Would do this all again for him! Meridian Hall on the other hand kind of sucks; the show started at 9:30pm we didn’t get let into the venue until at least 10pm. Only 2 of the bars were open so only 1/3 of the guests got drinks for the show or they would have missed Tom’s set. The speakers in the foyer weren’t on so even when we were trying to wait in the outrageous drink lines you could not hear inside to know if Tom was on yet or not. Every single comedy show I have ever been to is playing on the overhead through the washrooms and halls while it’s happening, not here. Needless to say I missed the opener waiting to get a beverage, Tom came on and I left the line! Unfortunately Kurt Bisler is coming there in December and I already have tickets, I will pregame for this show just in case 😉

    Amazing!

by Piperito on 2022-09-20Meridian Hall - Toronto

Wish there would’ve been more open bars for drinks, that they hadn’t run out of popcorn & there had been paper towels in the bathroom to dry hands but overall the experience was great and the show was fantastic!

    Disappointing venue and show

by Person guy on 2022-09-20Meridian Hall - Toronto

The venue did a terrible job of hosting this event. Received an email to arrive and hour early but they didn’t open door until 10 minutes before the start time. The line wrapped around the building twice. Only 2 bars to get drinks with 2 bartenders for 2000+ people. People weren’t seated until 14 minutes into the headliner. Only had XXL shirts for merchandise. Okay, but not funniest comedy show either. I’m guessing he was trying out new material. Disappointed in the whole event.

    Incredibly funny, as you expect

Fantastic material, really funny, cannot recommend Tom Segura more. If you like what he does, seeing him live is worth it.

Very bad organization by the venue

by Teo on 2022-09-20Meridian Hall - Toronto

We staid in line for over 45 min to enter. The line was going for hundreds of meters, round and round the building. But also ass ppl were e enter directly, without staying in line. Nobody was stoping them. Very bad organization. Also after we stayed for 45 min in line to just enter the venue, it was another km line to buy a beverage. Just 2 merchandise kiosks were open. Tom was great, but the venue sucks big time

Meridian Hall.. what a shit show

by Stef on 2022-09-20Meridian Hall - Toronto

The show itself was great, however the line to get in was absolutely absurd. When we tried to get in at the specified time of the doors opening at 845 we were told we had to line up. The line wrapped around all the way to the back of the building. We left to go get a drink at a bar to kill time because who the fuck would wait in a line that long? We rushed back for 930pm and the line was unchanged. We ended up just cutting in line from the front entrance where we proceeded to be dumbfounded by the ENORMOUS line to get a drink??? The venue only had 2 bars open and the lines for both of them stretched down the entire venue. Needless to say we did not wait in line to get any beverages as the show started. Throughout the entire show people in front of us were getting up and down out of their seats. We missed set ups and final punchlines to jokes because of this. Don’t allow people to walk back to their seats until at least a full joke has been said. It’s not my fault that the venue can’t accommodate the amount of people for a show. You open the doors 45 minutes before the show, but it clearly was NOT enough time to get everyone inside, to their seats and have time to get anything from the concession stand. This is not a reflection of the front line workers, rather indicative of poor management and venue planning. The overflow of the ridiculous line to get in, not being able to get a drink and the overall let down of the venue all need to be taken into consideration if you want people to come back to this venue.

    Great Show

Tom was excellent. Hell of a line out front early on and it took forever to get a drink but nothing that soured my night ;)

    meh

by sadie on 2022-09-20Meridian Hall - Toronto

the opening comedian was not funny; he was mainly making jokes about sex and sex with minors which was very offensive to say the least. He was not funny. Segura was funny; had afew good jokes but the skit was short and the venue really was poorly organized. The line up for the bar was extremely long. It just was poorly done overall and we expected more from such a comedic star. We definitely won't be back

    Great Show!

by Featherin It Brother on 2022-09-19Meridian Hall - Toronto

Tom was hilarious. My only issue was with the sound. I could barely understand the opening act. It got slightly better for Tom but sometimes it was still hard to hear. Lots of like echoing. Other than that, amazing!

    Great show!!

by Carey on 2022-09-19Meridian Hall - Toronto

I was nervous going to see Tom's performance as I was going with my teenage son (he loves Tom). The content was hilarious and not too inappropriate to see with my child. I like how he pulls from real life experiences and was able to relate to alot of it!! Great job!!
