Great atmosphere and awesome experience would definitely go again
This is a great deal you get four games at $20 a game is a great price. With the general seating you can seats that match your interest. Highly recommended action packed games.
It was fantastic! The players even shook hands with the fans! I want to go again!
Lamport Stadium is a nice little stadium. I was staying in an hotel near Chinatown and I had no difficulty getting there by walking to the stadium before the game. It was a beautiful day. Should have bought a hat as I got a sunburn on my head :)
Especially great for spontaneous large groups! The unassigned seating makes sitting together a breeze!
Another win, another step closer to promotion and a strong squad to take on the Championship. If you enjoy fast paced, hard hitting sports, you need to get to a Wolfpack game!
Love the game but the best part of all was bringing first timers who will now join us for more games this season!
Well our team is pretty kick ass...beer is affordable and the atmosphere is fun! Its walkable from exhibition station and in lib village so there are lots of options for dinner and what not post-game! Definitely family friendly, singles club friendly and corporate day out friendly. Get out and support the pack! I guarantee if you go to one game you'll be going to more.
What an amazing afternoon of sport and a fantastic kick-off for the summer! Loved seeing the pre-game "friendly" and the Wolfpack put on a fantastic showing! We took advantage of the post-game beer gardens as well but oh my were we disappointed that the Wolfpack showed up about ten minutes after we left. NEXT TIME!
Great value with a high action game and best team in the league!
Great atmosphere, and a great game! I'm not normally big on going to sporting events, but I'll definitely attend future matches! Wolfpack's on fire!
The actual event and sport was amazing. Similar to an NFL game, we brought blankets to keep us warm. Entire family was entertained. Kids liked the dance pack, and howling in the stands. They had people walking around selling beer, which was good, no need to line-up. My only complaint was the concession lines took 30 mins to get snacks for the kids. Perhaps a snack guy walking through the stands could help with that.
Great but bad tempered game, both teams were no angels. Toronto seemed to be the main instigator in a lot of the in field issues.
To be able to see the inaugural home game, for an extraordinary sport and a Toronto team that is rocking the world, is truly a once in a lifetime opportunity. The fans were electric, and the excitement and entertainment on the field and during intermissions were first rate. In a world that competes for our dollars and attention, this was worth every penny!
Awesome sport! Awesome team! Going to need a bigger capacity stadium real soon!
Amazing preparty and march. Stadium was awesome and the entertainment was great. Half time show was boring. Blindfolded drop goals for cash or season tickets would be better than 5 kids playing touch. Beer and food ticket line was the worst. People waited 25 minutes to get a drink. This is a simple fix. Great game. Great crowd. Bigger and better when the Pack is back.
The Wolfpack played a great game. It was great to be at their first game in Canada. The team was very appreciative of the fans. It was an exciting game. It was a blast!
This was the first professional rugby league game to be played in Canada - a shame about the stadium open to the elements with no cover and bare aluminum benches on a cold a wet day - is that the best you can do? The announcers and scoreboard operators do not know much about the game - wrong score posted after a try, announcer says 2 minutes left plus added time (there is no added time in rugby league). No teamsheets or programs available to finding out about the players or the laws of the game new to North American fans. No team schedules to know about future games. The game itself was completely one sided affair. Only afterwards did I find out the opposition from Oxford, England are not full time professionals, having worked in their regular jobs until Thursday and flown to Canada overnight Thursday for a game on Saturday afternoon. Really was a bit like watching wrestling - the outcome was known before the kick off for those who know the game Very poor effort. If you want to go and see your team win easily then this is the team for you - Men against boys, full time professional players against amateurs, well rested versus jet lagged etc.
we went with a few friends just to check this out - had a blast and definitely want to come again!
