About

Tyler Childers is carving his own path in country music. Following the success of his 2017 breakout album Purgatory, the Kentucky-born singer-songwriter has earned 11 career Grammy nominations across folk, Americana, and country categories. Childers' 2025 release, Snipe Hunter, marked his seventh studio album; across the record, he weaves Appalachian storytelling with elements of rock and gospel. Childers remains connected to his Appalachian roots through his Hickman Holler Appalachian Relief Fund, which he established in 2020 with his wife, singer-songwriter Senora May, to bring awareness and financial support to vulnerable communities.

  • The true meaning of “epic”

by Delsoul on 2024-08-12Rogers Arena - VancouverRating: 5 out of 5

I have been to too many concerts/music events to list. This was no doubt in the top 3. Never EVER have i seen an entire crowd stand and sing to EVERY single song with the artist. This show was truly one of a kind.

  • Best concert I have ever been to

by Sara on 2024-08-11Rating: 5 out of 5

I would go to this show 10 times over. His live singing was even somehow better than his recorded, the set & animations that went along with each song were fantastic, and his chitchat in between songs was great entertainment too. So charming!

  • Tyler killed it!

He played for 2 hrs straight, engaged the crowd and vocals were on point! So good!

  • Tyler Childers

by JF on 2024-08-11Rogers Arena - VancouverRating: 4 out of 5

Great venue , close to stage and really would be a bad seat in the house . Security is a joke , they don’t control people to the detriment of other peoples experience, poor access and ticket control. Concert and infrastructure great - easy access to the bar and washrooms. Transport to and from location easy . Great venue and great city , great artist but let down by poor venue management .

  • Was amazing so worth it

by Arion on 2024-08-11Rogers Arena - VancouverRating: 5 out of 5

Tyler Childers was a fantastic concert, he is even better live than in his recordings. The stage setup was so beautiful and he is absolutely hilarious. The musicianship in that band was beyond what i was expecting and overall it was a night to remember!

  • BREATHTAKING

    by Ashley B on 2024-08-11Rogers Arena - VancouverRating: 5 out of 5

honestly, we have loved him for years and was tempted to go to Tennessee to see him, and we’re so happy to see he was coming to Vancouver! His show was thoughtful and breathtaking, his passion for his music was noted by the crowds singing…. Couldn’t say enough good things about this concert

  • Came for the Opening Act

by Fader on 2024-08-11Rogers Arena - VancouverRating: 5 out of 5

We came to see Allison Russell and, as always, she and her band put on an incredible performance. We only heard the Tyler Childers set as ended up on the concourse chatting and catching up with friends - his voice sounded really good.

Was a beautiful night, until my father got too drunk and I became a babysitter. I prayed for guidance and as I finished my prayer, way of the triune god came on. Light shed down on me giving me strength to push through the darkness of the alcoholism I was face to face with that wanted to reach in and grip my own. God found me in that stadium just the way he did when I first heard the tune of “follow you to Virgie”. God was right beside me all night and as I stood there with my hand to my heart, I knew the power of the man who was singing, he was a channel for god, his voice had such strength and character I needed. Thank you Tyler Childers for a beautiful display of art directly brought down from the man himself. I hope to be back again one day, I’m so grateful to be apart of everyone’s lives that night.

  • Best Concert EVER!!!

by Nicole on 2024-08-11Scotiabank Saddledome - CalgaryRating: 5 out of 5

I have been to a fair few stadium concerts in my lifetime and this by far was the best show my husband and I have ever seen. Tyler Childers has such a strong voice and presence on the stage and his band was top notch talent. The sound was average and unbalanced, but this is common at the Saddledome. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

  • Tyler amazing, opener meh.

by JE on 2024-08-11Rogers Arena - VancouverRating: 5 out of 5

Tyler was amazing as usual. This was my second time seeing him live and I was worried it wouldn't be as great as the first time but he outdid himself again. Great performer, even greater artist and singer. His voice is unmatched. I could have done with a different opener. Although she was talented and had fabulous intentions, I don't think her vibe matched the crowd coming to see Tyler. That just my personal opinion.

  • True talent!

by Butterfly on 2024-08-11Rogers Arena - VancouverRating: 5 out of 5

I've been to many great concerts, classic bands that will never die, but I have never sang so loud, danced so much and truly enjoyed a performance! He's very real and talented. The first song he sang is the song that always makes me cry.( Shake the frost) Very much a must see!!! Thank you Tyler and can't wait to see you again!

  • Hill Billy Rock

by Tay on 2024-08-11Rogers Arena - VancouverRating: 5 out of 5

Couldn't be better especially shake the frost. The band was amazing the instrumentals were excellent. The price of the tickets was reasonable and well worth it.

We had great seats, in the 315 area. Tyler Childers put on a phenomenal concert. He truly sounds so good, better than what you hear on the radio. I hope to get to see him again. Great experience.
