About

Tyler Childers is carving his own path in country music. Following the success of his 2017 breakout album Purgatory, the Kentucky-born singer-songwriter has earned 11 career Grammy nominations across folk, Americana, and country categories. Childers' 2025 release, Snipe Hunter, marked his seventh studio album; across the record, he weaves Appalachian storytelling with elements of rock and gospel. Childers remains connected to his Appalachian roots through his Hickman Holler Appalachian Relief Fund, which he established in 2020 with his wife, singer-songwriter Senora May, to bring awareness and financial support to vulnerable communities.

  • Awesome Concert

by Ash on 2024-07-12Budweiser Stage - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

Tyler sounds great live, just like his studio recordings. His visuals were awesome. He did just enough crowd talk to engage us while still fitting in all his biggest songs and then some.

  • One of the best musicians I've ever seen live!

by Alyson on 2024-07-12Budweiser Stage - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

  • Phenomenal Show

by StaynerSteve on 2024-07-12Budweiser Stage - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

What a great show Tyler put on, just incredible. The middle of the show was top shelf, the piano solo blew me away. All in all if you're thinking of going to a Tyler Childers show, just buy the tickets!

  • Great show, awesome venue, expensive water

by Alyssa on 2024-07-12Budweiser Stage - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

Tyler Childers was truly more amazing in person than I could have expected! He puts on a great show and his band is also fantastic (the keys were awesome!!) the venue was also great (lawn seats are a much better view than the the 500’s in the dome) minus $9 for a bottle of water, 10/10 would recommend bringing a reusable water bottle that’s within the guidelines of course :) overall it was a great night and now my fiancé has the concert bug so nothing to complain about :)

  • One of the Best

by PG on 2024-07-12Budweiser Stage - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

Tyler Childers is one of the best songwriters out there right now and his live performances give life to to his song writing, There are no short cuts in his live performance - much like his music. Great band and seems genuine in his banter. Going to a Childers concert is an experience particularly if you are a fan of his music (or country / folk - Americana music in general).

  • Best concert ever!!

by BradMac on 2024-07-12Budweiser Stage - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

Best concert I have been to a long time. Tyler has a visible passion for the music and the lyrics are just indescribable!! Wanted to follow him to the next tour stop!!

  • What a show!

by Julie on 2024-07-12Budweiser Stage - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

This concert venture was a gift for my 81 year old father who thinks Tyler is just the greatest! We were both very impressed with his performance and the way he connected with his fans. Not to mention the talent the whole band showcased. Dad had to have the t shirt and hat to commemorate the day. He's been rocking the hat every since and telling everyone who will listen just how good the show was.

Show was amazing. Staff was decent. Part staff was clueless and not helpful at all

  • Unreal

    by J. A. on 2023-10-11Rating: 5 out of 5

I’m a frequent concert goer and have been to many many shows. Tyler Childers Lady May is my and my husbands first dance at our wedding. Two weeks later we flew to Denver and saw him at the Red Rocks Amphitheater and then again at Fiddlers Green. He’s amazing. Tears each time seeing him. And now we’re going to see him in Calgary. He’s becoming my favorite artist.

  • Spectacular

  • Banger Of The Year

by Thunder Bird on 2019-12-11REBEL - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

Been to a lot of shows. Hands down one of the best times I’ve had, period. Childers and his band are making some real sh*t here. Everything about this show without a doubt gets 5 star 100%. Backdrop and light show was intentionally designed to impact my whisky induced mushroom state of mind in the best of ways. At one point I was inside the music and hoped to never leave. The energy that Tyler brings with his music and the response of the crowd was electric. The venue was absolutely perfect. I’ll remember that show for the rest of my life as one of the best. Can’t wait to do it again. YEEWWW!!
