Our family was amazed at the caliber of dancing. It was extremely touching to realize these dancers are able to perform day after day knowing their homeland is being decimated. Our hearts go out to you.

Incredible talent of the Ukrainian National Ballet dancers in an historic and wonderful theatre. Finishing their show with the local Rusalka Dance group was magic in a bottle. Good on all those involved and the show was another level.

Rarely, does Winnipeg see this level of international ballet. How are the national ballet of Ukraine is able to keep up this level of performance in the middle of war is a tribute to their innate talent and skill. They are comfortable with all aspects of classical ballet with a strong injection of Ukrainian culture

Having read the article in the Globe about the hardship these dancers train and perfrom under at home - made the performance even more special. Every dance was lovely, the background of the destruction in Ukraine was heart-breaking, and Maniotba's Rusalka Ukrainian Dance Ensemble brought the house down with a rousing finale. A perfect evening
