The show was awesome, Paul sounds as good or better than the original and has great energy! The rest of the band was flawless too. Would definitely see them again next time! Club Regent is a perfect venue too!
The Ultimate Escape show was wonderful. Paul McNair has an amazing voice and the band did a wonderful job to their tribute of Journey. The WSO also accompanied Ultimate Journey and with the great sound system that the Club Regent Event Centre it was a great evening. The only down side was that they couldn't play longer. Its amazing that a song can take you back to a moment in time . I would definitely go see them again.
Loved the mix of rock with symphony! Unfortunately could not hear wso in first half, was rectified after intermission. Tribute was fantastic! Paul McNair was spot on!
The lead singer sounds just like Steve Perry! The WSO made the night unforgettable!
The combination of the orchestra and Ultimate Escape was great. I really enjoyed the main singer. He had a great voice and you could tell he truly enjoyed what he was doing. The number done by the piano player was great as well. My feet were moving as I was sitting in my chair.
Great show, loved watching Paul McNair and band perform with the WSO as his back up band... what a great sound...
Great music, very tight, and the WSO added a fantastic dimension. Highly recommend to anyone to check it out if they ever do this again.
Love the location, songs brought back many memories for me from the 80's.
The show was terrific in all aspects, the vocals were outstanding as were the musicians. I had seen journey recently & could not believe just how good Ultimate Escape was, if you closed your eyes you would swear it was the original Journey with Steve Perry...OUTSTANDING!!!!!
