We drove almost 8hrs to NY, explored Manhatten the day before & the day of the event, saw UFC 111 - fantastic weekend!!
Other than standing outside in the cold for over an hour waiting to get inside, the event was fantastic.
I'm hooked now! We are already planning our next UFC event/holiday.
The UFC is one event you cant miss!! The atmosphere is unbelievable and everyone is there for a good time. There is not one seat in the whole place that didn't have a good look at the octagon to see whats going!! very please! the washrooms were about the only thing i had to complain about there was huge line ups and when you gotta go you gotta go! I will be going to another ufc event!
Best part about floor seats was free booze, and also the chance to meet so many of the fighters.....had a blast!!!!
ufc fights are always a blast , have been to 4 events in vegas and always worth the trip. always meet really good people at these events and some have become very good friends.
This event was epic! Each of the main fights were toe to toe brawls...so many great moments, the entire event is a highlight reel! When Forrest got up from under Tito once, we cheered, twice, we were ecstatic...but then when he knocked Tito's mouthpiece out with a kick - we went CRAZY! Forrest is the ultimate entertainer, I can't wait to see the fight again on tv, but nothing will compare to having been there live. Looking forward to the next main event in VEGAS.
This was my first UFC live appearance. The venue was perfect. I was totally surprised the event was not sold out and while I bought my tics online there seemed to be alot of free tickets being used. (I was wondering if the pricing was the problem). The Kimbo fight was somewhat of a disappointment but I am not sure it was his fault - his opponent seemed to be very reluctant to slug it out and probably for good reason. Most of the fights had there own intrique. Overall I enjoyed very much so although for a 5+ hour event it would have been nice to have access to some food or at least munchies especially with the TV breaks required between some of the matches - but overall I thought the event had a good pace. The Randy Couture appearance was a special bonus and he seemed to be a genuine individual and gentlemen - thanks Mickey's - they were good too.
The fights, even the preliminary ones were great. The final fight was unforgettable. Griffin was absolutely wonderful and put on a great show (fight) right to the end. We all gave him a standing ovation at the end of the fight. The venue was awesome. We were really well treated at the Mandalay Bay Events Center. My husband has one knee that can't bend and couldn't sit in the seats we bought. The events co-ordinator quickly reassigned us seats he was able to sit in. We were so impressed - it was truly a class act event. I wish we can get an event like this in British Columbia.
Solid card up and down, lots of finishes and no real stinker fights. Great crowd and main event.
This Event Was Scheduled As A Title Event, After I Bought Tickets For My Sons 21st Birthday The Event Was Changed. We Feel Strongly That There Should Have Been A TITLE Fight As Advertised & Priced Accordingly, Even If The Original Fighters Had To Be Changed Out.. The Fighters That Where At This Event Put On A GREAT Show, Very Professional.
Overall, this was a great event. From GSP's technical masterpiece, to the CB Dalloway brawl, there were some great fights. While Brock Lesnar may bring theatrics and notoriety to the UFC, along with a more mainstream fan base, for me, he ruins the purity and honesty that drew me to the UFC in the first place. Unlike many people, I have no interest in seeing the now villified Lesnar brought down. In fact, I have no real interest in seeing him fight at all. GSP was the real headliner of the event.
my first time to a live ufc event and it was unreal!
awsome fights the main event sanchaz quida fight was probaly fight of the year!!
UFC 100 was electrifying! I had a great time. Anyone who goes to a UFC event will be hooked for life. I brought my girlfriend to UFC 100, she wasn't the biggest fan, and now she is addicted. I recommend everyone go to a live UFC event at least once. I can't wait to go to the next big event.
We bought the tickets thinking Lesnar - Mir II was the main event, and were a little dissapointed when it was changed, but WOW what a great night of fights!
We had a blast ... fights were sick!! Can't wait to go again!
UFC 100 was the best one i had been to so far. The venue was unreal. I was the eleventh row from the top and still had an incredible view. Also, by far the best card put together.
This was our first UFC event live. Simply amazing!! From the question and answer session with Frank Mir, to the weigh-ins and autograph session with some of the fighters. Takes awhile to get out of MGM Grand. Need a better system. Overall, will be attending more UFC events in the future.
