All bands put on a good show. Veil of Maya especially stood out for the insane mosh pit. The crowd seemed to be into them more than any other band. Stick to your guns tried but just didnt go over with the crowd but was a nice breather before unearth. Only complaint would be no encore for Unearth despite the crowd chanting.

Unearth slayed last night. Opening acts were solid, I'm becoming more of a fan of The Ghost Inside. Carnifex was by far the best opener, as I'm always headbanging away. Veil of Maya has developed a cult like following, I think their new album is going to be a big hit. Stick to Your Guns wasn't as popular, but there's still the hardcore kids that wanna dance to them, and they're songs are still heavy enough to be enjoyed. I have a friend who's very much straightedge/hardcore, so I tolerate bands like that because he's in one himself and I've learned to appreciate all forms of music, no matter if I like it or not. But Unearth definately did not disappoint, maybe only when they refused to do an encore, but I attribute that to us not making enough noise at the end. They played songs from every album and had people in a moshing frenzy. They're not one of my favourite bands particularly, but I'll always go see them for a good time and some good thrashing.

The opening/supporting bands were pretty mediocre. Unearth on the other hand blew me away! Even though their set was only about 10-12 songs it was definately a mash up of thier greatest hits. They played This Glorious Nightmare for the first time in years and the band was blown away by the crowds reaction. Needless to say the show was epic!
