    I went to the show not knowing a lot about Valerie and left a big fan. Loved the music, the energy and the performance. She's an incredibly talented original musician. I should also mention the talent musicians backing her were super. I can't wait to see her / them again!!!

    To see live music again is one thing but nothing could have prepared me for the pure electric joy Valerie June showered upon us on the bouncy floors of the Commodore Ballroom! Her voice, indescribable, her original use of banjo, guitar, and tambourine, transcending. If you get a chance to see her, go.

    Valerie June was on form even if the Commodore Ballroom's sound wasn't perfect. Her live performance is so energetic and fun and Valerie June engages with her audience in a way that really made the experience personable. As we are working our way out of COVID isolation, this artist offers the audience a glimmer of hope in humanity and human connectedness. Thank you Valerie!
