Veld Music Festival Tickets

Without a doubt a very good experience for me and my friends. The space dedicated to the festival itself was HUGE and there were plenty of food stations, booths, kiosks and portable potties. The only things that they will need to improve is : -Their entry to the festival line set up : there were not enought of a large entrance to the festival. They need a wider entry with more lines open which will make the process easier and faster. Were waited in line once for 2 hours in the hot sun with no water. -Add more water stations: same concept as the entry line issues. Not enought water stations for the amount of people that attended. If they decide to advertise "to stay hydrated" , they should stick to their recommendation and add more water stations. -Improve intertainment : If I compare to Escapade in ottawa, there was no on scene intertainement (hired people walking around in costumest, hired robots on stage with the DJ, acrobats on stage with the DJ etc...)

This event was poorly organized. Ran out of water bottles on the first day!? I am sorry but that should be the last thing you run out of at a EDM festival!!! All music was shut off for more than two hours on day one due to possible thunder and lightning in the area? It didn't even rain might I mention, and why did that mean that no music at all could be played, not even the radio!? During this they also Stopped serving water and alcohol to top it off so we just sat there in the hot sun napping for a few hours, cool. Second day started off ok but when a storm was imminent it all went down hill. I am all for safety and understand why they evacuated the grounds. BUT The announcer was incredibly unclear about what was going on when they decided to evacuate the festival grounds. We were not told of any cancellation or refunds or anything. Still have 3 drink tickets which cost me 24 bucks and could not get a refund because we had to evacuate, other better information should have been provided because everyone working there was giving a differen story. The storm passed in about an hour or so. The festival should have postponed the event and started back up when the weather passed. It is now Monday and we have yet to hear about any possible refund on wristbands or drink tickets!? What a total disappointment and waste of money. Might I also mention how incredibly over capacity all the after parties were!? Just horrible horrible event planning.

First off I'd bought VIP 2 day ticket yet had to wait in line with GA before being allowed to enter the area to collect the wristbands. Once in line GA were given access to the venue before VIP what is the point of paying the extra money. During the first day the show was postponed for around an hour or so due to the weather forecast. On Sunday the show was canceled after about 5 hours yet again due to the weather forecast. Why could we not just wait it out the storm past in around 20 minutes. Veld advertise Canada's biggest dance event well this is the worst I've ever been my first and last. Very poorly organised uninformed staff along with warm beer come on you know you open at 11 get it on ice prior to opening. I've been to EDC Orlando, New York, Las Vegas, Ultra Miami Veld You really need to see how we Europeans do things please go to Creamfields in England Now thats a festival.

Waited 3 hours in line to get in.. Show cut short due to weather.. Not something I would spend money on again.. Left feeling disappointed..

It was cancelled pretty much both days. I spent 200$ to watch 2 and a half artists. Want my money back!!!

I've travel to numerous festivals and never had such a bad experience

Went last year, it was a blast! This year got canceled, only saw a total of 4 acts. Honestly just want my money back. Wasn't work the over $200 fee. :(

Horrible experience. This was my second veld and I hated. Are we going to receive a refund for the second day? None of the good DJs even started playing yet, and it rained for five minutes.bthe security was not good at all, so many people walking around just doing drugs and being completely mangled. I can't get over how mad my experience was this year! What a waste of money.

Gates were closed on Day 1 for several hours. Could not enter the event grounds. Once in, Saw 2 artists. Event was evacuated and cancelled on Day 2 at 5pm. Saw 1 artist. Will not attend in the future.

I understand that they can't control the weather, but I don't think it was handled very well. They should have provided more information during the time it was on hold on Saturday, plus they could have warned us Sunday that there was a possibility of it being shut down. Also, we are still waiting on information about refunds. We should receive at least a 25% refund considering it was shut down half way through Sunday.

Very frustrating with first day starting off late and then the second day ended at 5:00 p.m. Not fair for the money for the tickets.

weather was the main culprit but seriously they should refund at least one day to everyone who bought tickets and was inconvenienced by having to wait outside the gates or evacuate the grounds

Worst festival ever. Should have paused the festival on Sunday just like they did on Saturday. Held off for the storm to pass. People deserve a refund. I didn't even get into the festival on the Sunday. Paid $300 for nothing.
