Veld Music Festival Tickets

VELD is well-organized and always an enjoyable experience. They definitely made the right call last year with the weather since safety is the first priority. I had so much fun both days last year and I can't wait to attend again this year. The lineup this year is awesome. A lot of diversity and something for every kind of music fan. The activities at VELD also help you take a break and have more fun while you are attending. This year is going to be better than ever and I am super excited to go!

VELD is nothing short of a great experience every year I have attended. People are quick to jump on last year due to weather related cancellation, but this was the professional and appropriate measure taken for customer safety. I have attended multiple music festivals around the world and VELD stands out in many ways. Enough with the flack about the weather, the event organizers were looking out for YOU! Each year the stage, sound, artists have been superb and I truly look forward to returning this July for yet another edition of VELD.

Even tho last year it rained out....I still enjoyed it and this year already seems like its going to be amazing so i can't wait for Veld 2K16.

The festival was great... Or at least the half of it that actually happened! I want a refund because 2 hours was cancelled the first day and over half of the second day was cancelled due to weather!

the first day was halted for at least a hour and a hslf, and the second day didnt even make it halfway before it was cancelled the drink tickets were super expensive and and when the event was cancelled on the second day nobody was issued a refund for their purchases. i saw a guy buy $150 worth of drink tickets only to have a veld employee tell him that veld had been cancelled due to an incoming storm and that the drink booth was closed. he never got his money as far as i know, just got stuck with a bunch of useless tickets. also the advertising said that the event was going to happen rain or shine...clearly that wasnt the case. if i had kown they would have stopped it in the rain, i never would have paid $220 to go to less then one day of a music festival. caribanna is free and pretty dam wild, and it happens every year regardless of weather, and they have steel pans and and all kinds of speakers and generators, etc. long story short, im not going to veld next year, i want my money back for my wristband, or at the very least a free concert including the artist that never got to perform on day1 (pretty lights) and on day 2 (above and beyond, hadwell, dvbbs, laidback luke, chocolate puma, gorgon city, etc) you owe the fans that much at least, we paid to see them, its only fair.

The festival was great while it last... too bad we had that storm caning to US but, it didn't last long so, cancel the whole thing at 5pm was really sad cuz a lot of ppl we're just getting in the venue and didn't have the chance to see their favorite djs. I hope for the next year they set a better date where there is less chance of storms like that so we all can enjoy enjoy the whole show

Stage was smaller than expected. Useless shutdown due to "bad weather" on Saturday while sunny out... did not let me bring cigarettes in. Second day fully canceled. Whole weekend was non stop disapointments. Festival not much bigger than escapade. Refund is expected.

Long pause on Saturday and a cancellation on Sunday. Majority of Veld didn't happen. And would strongly like a refund

2 1/2 hour delay on Saturday for absolutely NO REASON. Cancelled on Sunday! I need a refund. I understand the thunderstorm was crazy but you could have been better prepared and opened up the shelter and resumed after the 10 mins thunder. More than half of the people were still stuck in the thunderstorm anyways! The line ups were un-managed and long! More water coolers,please! And make some announcement about a refund!

Absolute blast, aside from the delay saturday and cancellation sunday. totally worth it, amazing time.

Fun while it was on but after bad weather came on Sat from 4 till 6 everything shut down and would not let people into the park I happened to be waiting at the gate at that time, there was dark clouds but it blew over no rain or heavy winds, after the weather cleared up it was back to the event and was great. Then Sunday came showed up at 3 to see the amazing Matt Zo play then after that one other dj played for about an hour and bad weather decided to piss on our parade at 5pm the stage was shut Down and everybody was escorted out of the park by about 5:45pm due to big black clouds headed straight for us but thinking back to the day before everybody was just expecting a replay of yesterday and it would blow over, boy where we wrong. Just was we stepped out of the park it rained so hard and the wind was so heavy I could not see 10 feet in front of me, the rain hit me so hard it felt like hail. At 6pm veld was officially cancelled. Very sad as there was 5 djs I really wasted to see play. We still have beer tickets we bought but could not redeam and we are hoping for a refund in tickets and beer tickets, I think half of the price of the tickets would be fair but we will see how this plays out. Hopefully better luck next year, I just hope for a line up as good as this year.

Not only did they turn off the music due to weather warnings the first day which is why we didnt get to see some djs we paid 200+ for, they had cancelled the second day which is when the best djs were supposed to perform. People didnt come from all over canada and the states just to have a music festival we waited for all year be cancelled. I was overall not impressed.

amazing show, everyone on the first day was amazing excpet for a small delay due to weather, went early so lines were short and everything was efficient. However the second day, half the event was cancelled due to severe thunderstorm warning, which is understandable except it's been two days with no pr about a partial refund or any statement, obviously our safety is number one however we missed almost all the headliners the second day. We flew from calgary so it was a long journey, wish we can get comped somehow for the ticket. But regardless it was all in all a amazing time!

The event itself would've be unforgettable if it wasn't for the weather. Ink continues to disappoint fans with there unpreparedness for foul weather. Beginning with waiting in line for three hours on the Saturday because a dark cloud was spotted, to the Sunday almost completely being cancelled due to a storm. Events as big as these should always have back ups to satisfy the fans. Wether it be rescheduling the event to a later date or partial refunds. With this being my second ink entertainment event of the year, the other being digital dreams which also got cancelled I can say for sure I'll never recommend attending one of these events again.

I was happy with the amazing lineup but so disappointed the music had to stop day one for two hours with out letting us know what was going to happen. the fact the festival got canceled really ruined my night even though it was necessary. The water stations were much better then last year but I suggest getting more then just two station for the amount of people that attend, they are always over crowded. This would bring down the dehydration rate!

the festival itself was great but on the other hand the way the event staff and the event itself handled the weather was unacceptable. canceling the event without rescheduling or giving a discount to wristband holders is a slimy thing. Ive been going to this event for four years now and this has been by far the worst one of them all. The staff was not understanding at all considering people payed a lot of money to see these dj's, acknowledging that fact isnt hard. more by more Veld music festival is forgetting without the festival goers their wouldn't be a festival. ps. Event got cancelled and postponed through the two days it was scheduled. Barely got to enjoy music, hope reimbureent is given because form e price I paid I did not enjoy the festival for that price. Event was a lot better last year.

VELDfest 2015 had the potential to be an excellent event, but Mother Nature decided to rear her ugly head. It was only a 1 hour delay, so it wasn't too bad. Day 1 was excellent with a great line-up and lots of fun. Deadmau5 finished the night with an excellent performance. Day 2 started with some great performances but again Mother Nature came around, but this time the entire event was cancelled due to severe potential for lightening and rain. It was disappointing but understandable.

I was very disappointed with VELD this year. Just based on the fact the first day we ended up sitting around for 2 hours hearing no music, because of apparent weather concerns, even though it was nice out. Missing sets, and not letting people enter till 6pm. Then day 2 it gets cancelled have way through because of a one hour rain storm that passed. On the ticket it clearly stated rain or shine, everyone there was fine with waiting for a little bit for the event to go on. I didn't even get in on the second day, because they stopped allowing people to entire,and the busses at downsview station stopped taking people. Sitting in a subway station for over an hour, is clearly not enjoying a music festival, better communication would have been nice! Bottom line I paid to much money for what I get to see, which wasn't very much! People that bought tickets should be allowed to receive a partial refund!
