As always, Vince Neil rocked! Wish he played til midnight though
Vince Neil does not "need" to play these venues, he "wants" to play these venues. He was having fun and it showed!! It is a intimate setting, with only a few hundred people, which is fabulous versus the huge stadium experience. During the middle of the show Vince lets his band members play some Led Zepplin and Black Sabbath in an entertaining and theatrical session. Vince joins back in to finish off an already amazing set and experience!
Amazing! The only negative was could have been longer, only about 60-90min.
A awesome venue to get up close to a legend, the best of Motley Crue with a incredible band behind Vince
If you are a Crue fan and want to hear most of the hit songs in a small venue and have a great time this venue is for you. They didn't play Primal Scream, Too Young to Fall in Love or Smoking in the boys room but they pretty much played all the other Crue hit songs. They could have easily played those songs but the guys from the Slaughter played a couple of tunes (which were great, Led Zep's Whole Lotta Lova and Black Sabbath's Heaven and Hell). The band has more energy than some bands half their age. Zoltan and Dana Strum alone are power plants of energy!
All eagerly awaited Vince to take the stage but alas like a dream it ended far too quickly. The dream was filled with pleasant memories leaving you wanting.
My fiancée and I went to the Vince Neil concert this past weekend and had a great time! I thought Vince Neil and his band put on a great concert and despite the fact they did not play a lot of familiar songs they all played their heart out. It was somewhat strange that Vince left for about 20 minutes of a 1.5 hour concert and I have read this in other reviews but overall what can you expect, it's not Motley Crue!!
Vince sounded great and he really seemed to be enjoying himself.
Vince sounded great but he only played for like 35-40 min the rest was his band doing covers and noise. The show was over in 60min no one came out to sign autographs or pictures nothing I guess they needed to be in bed at 10pm or something. There was like 10 people standing there with Motley records and he could not come out for 10min to say hi? For shame. Tickets cost $80 and we got a $20 show I won't make that mistake again.
Always a good time when Vince Neil is playing. He's got great energy and knows how to engage the crowd. Not a bad seat in the house at the Deerfoot Inn & Casino
Very cozy super close to stage not too crowded, everyone seemed to be having a great time
I expected to see Vince belt out the Crue hits - which he did but for a short period of time. The show started at 9PM and ended at 10:15PM - no encore. By far the shortest concert I ever saw, and I have seen hundreds. In addition, he disappeared for 15 minutes mid-concert (why, who knows - perhaps to let his band members do a lame rendition of Led Zeppelin songs). $90 to see Vince Neil for 60 minutes (?). Judge for yourself. I was disappointed, as I am sure were those who travelled to see him. I expected more.
I was able to attend this concert with 7 of my friends that I went to high school with in the 80's. As I listened to the songs and saw my friends; I had flashbacks for each and every song that he sang. Because of that, it was one if the best concerts I've been too.
This was a great show! I would recommend anyone who likes Motley Crue will love Vince Neil. I have been a big fan since the 80's and was certainly not disappointed.
The entire show was one hour and 15 minutes. The audience sang as much as Vince Neil did during the show. I was at the show to see him... not his guitar players do a 10 minute 3 song show where he was off the stage. No encore! It's the fans who made him the star he was and in my opinion for the money we paid it is a respectful way to show his fans how he appreciates them. When we left I overheard people saying they wanted a refund, they were disappointed and they were mad at paying what they paid for the show.
Concert was awesome. Band played great. Zultan (Sultan) my god what a drummer.
The concert ran for 1.5 hours and Vince Neil may have been on the stage singing for 40 minutes. Good thing his band showed up to cover for him when he left the stage 3 times and the second or third time he left the stage it was for about half an hour. I would not attend this concert again.
Vince is always good, but at times it seemed like he was letting the audience sing more than he did. Also, I think the band is awesome (from Slaughter) but 3 (or more) songs on their own was a bit much for a 75 minute concert considering we paid to see Vince Neil.
Good show although Vince Neil should have been on the stage even when his band did cover songs
Vince Rocked the house in Saskatoon last night! Played almost all Crue tunes and that was A-okay. Band was tight sounded really good and complimented Vince's Vocals! Bottom Line, I have seen Vince or the Crue 6 or 7 times since the Feelgood tour and he sounded the best last night, since the feelgood tour!!!!
