The Virsky Ukrainian dancers were amazing! The only problem was the seating in the Jubilee Auditorium. If you are not sitting in the front row of the balcony, it is very difficult to see.
Most exciting and emotionally exuberant, pride and excellence, encore numbers were wildly appreciated.
Never have I seen such a fantastic performance. Two hours were over just like that!!! Didn't want it to end!!

Being a Ukrainian dancer of over 15 years, I took my 6 year old (who is in her 4th year) to the show. We both loved it. Virsky did a wonderful job of telling unique, individual stories using traditional dance. The caliber of choreography and dancers were definately of the best I've ever seen in traditional Ukrainian dance. The only thing that could have made it better would have been a live orchestra. I am so glad we went and would definately see them again.
THANK-YOU from the bottom of my heart for the Virsky performance which I and my family attended on Oct 15/10. We are a dance family with 4 Ukrainian dancers who danced for a long time in wonderfull ensembles here in Edmonton. We have had the pleasure of attending many wonderfull concerts all over western Canda,especially here in Edmonton. To be able to see the Virsky dancers -the absolute technical perfection was a dream come true. The technical level, the fabulous choreography,beautifull costumes produced a performance that was pure pleasure. ITo have Virsky come to Western Canada, for our family was an absolute dream come true. PLEASE BRING THEM BACK!!!!!!!!!! Thank-you with all of my heart.
What an incredible performance. A flawless 2 hours of athleticism and synchronization. Great costumes, very appreciative troupe. I was even impressed with how they took a bow. This is world class entertainment, these are the best of the best and they never stop smiling.
Incredible and precise footwork. Dazzling color. Breathtaking acrobats and turns. Absolute must see dance event!!!

It was great. If you're considering going then you already know you'll go so reading this review is probably not going to make you go/not go. I'm not sure what more to say other than that.
The show was amazing from the time the curtain opened till it closed. It was much more than I had expected, it actually gave me goose bumps and brought tears to my eyes. The dancers were amazingly talented and athletic. The spinning and jumping was unreal!! The costumes and colors were so vivid and beautiful! I hope they return, as i would love to attend again!! I recommend the show to all. Perfect for the whole family to enjoy.

As a person in my mid 40's I found the event to be good. I would recommend that it is something to see at least once. My mother and father inlaw thought the show was fantastic
Virsky Ukranian Dancers were worth every penny. Fast moving and colorful. As good as any Las Vegas show.
Full of energy, enthusiam, and spirit. I loved when they spoke Ukranian and we could see the character in each dancer. We loved the facial expressions on the men when they danced. The music was very upbeat. All the women were within the same weight and height which was beautiful to see them in unison.....and their calf muscles were...wow. Would see them again....especially in a small venue like Red Deer College.

I was blown away within the first three seconds of the curtain opening. All the colour, commotion and music transported me into another world, one of folk tales and imagination. Coming from a dance background myself, I could appreciate the caliber and professionalism of all the company dancers, and not just those in the spotlight. If I had one wish it would be that Virsky could grace Kelowna with their magical presence every year.
