Ive seen the movie in the past and enjoyed it. The musical brought an incredible cast,singing and acting to the movie. Completely enjoyed the performance and would recommend it to friends and family!!
Much better than I expected. Loved it. I would highly recommend this performance.
Such a great show. I’ve been listening to the soundtrack for a while, but nothing compares to SEEING it live. Laughed and cried! Amazing!
Very good show. Strong script with solid performances. Music good just missing a few hits to lift it to another level.
I really enjoyed the recent performance of Waitress. The actors and actresses acted their parts superbly. The only downer was the acoustics in the auditorium. My friends and I all commented that we had difficulty catching all of the words in the performance. It could have been so much more enjoyable if the actors/actresses could have slowed down their speech, and enunciated more clearly. The sound level was good, but the comprehension was lacking. Otherwise, it was a wonderful evening's entertainment.
The cast did a very nice job of telling the story. The singing and acting by all was on point. The set was simple and yet very well done.
Don't hesitate to see this great production. Fabulous voices, eye catching costumes and the most amazing set design and execution of set change. The cast was wonderful and overall it was an extremely professional performance.
Saw at Jubilee Edmonton Nov 26. Show underwhelmed me. Music was too loud for singers, songs for most part too slow. Just could not get into the performance.
I was seated in the first balcony, terrace. Had a good view of the stage. I did feel the sound was a bit low because I missed the dialogue and words to the songs quite often. The volume could have been raised. The story line emphasis was on adultery and not "love" so it wasn't to my taste, but I can't fault the performances or the great singing of all the main characters. It wasn't the happy, feel-good show that I was expecting.
Great set, costumes, and casting. Enjoyable from start to finish!
Great performance. It was lively, fun and had excellent humour. The performers were very talented and the pace was perfect. We all enjoyed Waitress.
The seat I was in was a bit annoying no exit had to make all the ladies get up so I could exit that was annoying but could see everything well 108 k first balcony terrace left The performers were so wonderful the cast was perfect all the way to the little lulu Rowan from Calgary But don’t boo “Earl”! He is a really good actor! He really did well in his role! Go see it
We were late buying tickets and ended up at the very back of the 1st balcony. The acoustics were poor and the southern US accents as well as actors speaking very quickly made it even worse. We missed a lot of the words for both the dialogue and songs. Folks around us were having the same problem. This issue existed for one of our teenage daughters as well as for the older members of our group. Unfortunate as it took away from the experience overall.
I have been to many productions at theJubilee but this really was the best experience I’ve had yet. The acting was amazing and the singing incredible! I felt so connected to the characters and their dilemmas! A wonderful way to spend a birthday!!
I'd prefer shows at the Jubilee start at 7:30 and not 8 p.m.
I did have trouble hearing some of the lyrics. I think this could be attributed to sound quality which I don’t expect from the jube. Or when I’ve paid a significant amount of money to see the show. I had good seats in main rc. Other than that. Great!
What a fun performance! It had a little bit of everything, the cast was amazing. So happy to be able to see such great productions through Broadway across Canada!

Great cast, funny, witty and talented. Story unexpected but very appreciated .
Generally, the performance was OK. The lead actress had a couple of well - sung excellent songs The character, "Okie" was a real show - stopper. A couple of the "production numbers" were excellent. Unfortunately, both my wife and I had difficulty hearing the lyrics of the songs but had no issues with the spoken word.
