    Walking with greatness!!!

    by WPG5 on 2009-07-16MTS Centre - Winnipeg

Before we even entered the MTS center, I wasn't quite sure about our seats(off to the side) but when the show started it turned out to be the best seats in the center according to my kids. The show was great and I would recommend it to Dino lovers or not.

Walking with Dinosaurs was better than I expected!

    by Luna4 on 2009-07-16MTS Centre - Winnipeg

Walking with Dinosaurs was amazing! All of the dinosaurs looked so real it almost made you forget that you were sitting in an arena. It was funny and informative at the same time. We had excellent seats. We were directly opposite of where the dinosaurs came out (We had lower bowl seats). It was a little too loud, especially for toddlers, but I would definitely recommend it to other people.

    Dinosaurs were amazing

by sarahsaurus on 2009-07-16MTS Centre - Winnipeg

The projection screen helped us to see the dinosaurs up close because our seats were in the upper deck. It also had amazing pictures of the terrain that the dinosaurs may have lived in. It was cool how the dinosaurs legs moved to make them walk. The narrator and tour guide spoke clearly and had some good jokes.

    Walking With Dinosaurs...Fun Evening

by GrandmaReid on 2009-07-16MTS Centre - Winnipeg

"Walking With Dinosaurs" is an entertaining family evening. Unfortunately, the cost of the tickets makes it unaffordable for many families, especially those with several children or those who fall into a lower income bracket. The performance was totally amazing!! Our 5 year old got impatient with the history narrative and just wanted more dinosaurs. The 2nd part of the show proved more captivating as it moved along at a faster pace in introducing the dinosaurs and having lots of action and movement. It is certainly a performance worth seeing at least once. Would we go again? Possibly...but not within the next couple of years. However, we would recommend it for family fun. As with most shows, the thing we disliked the most was the "stuff" for sale and marketed to pressure parents/grandparents to buy for the kids. Also, the lack of respect from those who disregarded the "no photos" request and flashed through the entire performance. Can this be controlled by a warning from staff ?

    Walking With Dinosaurs

by woodlands on 2009-07-16MTS Centre - Winnipeg

From a 10-year old perspective, he liked it, especially the T-Rex and Longnecks. From an adult perspective, didn't find it was worth the 130 dollar price plus pricetag for three of us to attend - very short! Was in shock when the intermission came after only half an hour....

    Over Sized and Over Priced

by Nicknamessuck on 2009-07-16MTS Centre - Winnipeg

The kids were extatic about seeing the dinosaurs so we sucked it up and bout the 5 tickets needed. We used our CAA card for a $10 discount per ticket, which was nice, however, it still cost over $240 ( and that's just the tickets!). The show was about one hour in length- advertised as 90 minutes- take away the twenty minute intermission and the seven minutes late start. There was some interesting information about the different dinosaurs and the time they came from and the T-Rex was awesome. After buying popcorn, drinks and a fancy light-up toy for each of the kids, we were out almost another $100. So, if you're looking for a short evening that's really expensive, this one's for you. I recommend bringing your own treats in your backpack!

This was the 2nd time we saw WWD, and it was even better this time. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this show to anyone. Just make sure that you aren't worried about loud noise, because it is LOUD

    Great Show

    by Birdgirl2000 on 2009-07-16MTS Centre - Winnipeg

The kids loved it.... They loved the baby T-Rex and the Long necks. The changes with the volcanoes and rocks was pretty cool as well as the flowers and grass.

    Too much boring dialogue

by MzKitty on 2009-07-16MTS Centre - Winnipeg

The dinosaurs were amazing! Wanted more action and less talk. The talk was boring but for adults and older children, if they listened, it was very informative, especially about the size of the the animals we were seeing. Well done with the realistic snatching of the baby dinosaur from the egg and the feeding both on the dead dino and when the big ones were eating from the trees and flowers. The dinosaurs of course were the show stoppers. The visuals were also very well done too and the music I loved.

    Dinos Dazzle and Educate

    by skippy13 on 2009-07-16MTS Centre - Winnipeg

As a parent we are looking for ways to entertain our children, but it is always an exciting venue when you can not only entertain your children, but educate them at the same time. My 3 1/2 yr old son and I attended the opening night of Walking With the Dinosaurs, and it was far beyond anything I had expected. My son was dazzled with the dinosaurs, but managed to be able to actually name a couple on sight, after leaving the show. I myself learned a lot about history and evolution, while being entertained by the lights and sounds. There was something in the show for everyone throughout the ages. It was truly a night to remember, and I would highly recommend the event to anyone young or old, with or without children, We are never too old to learn, and never to young to be amazed.

    Walking with Dinasours was fantastic

by EhEh on 2009-07-16MTS Centre - Winnipeg

This was my first experience with this show and it was fantastic to say the least. Although a bit short and it would be nice to have more video with maybe a bit more background information the dinos themselves were breath takingly amazing. Maybe they could inmclude some more of the smaller dinos in the future as well just an idea and have the dinos that are staging fighting butt heads or something. The sound efeects and realizm of them were also amazing. Like I said before I felt the shows were a bit on the short side with alittle more vidoe and story telling it would be easy to stretch it out abit longer. Oh ya the stuff on sale very poor selection if you ask me. It would have been alot better to have more variety of adult t shirts, posters etc. with actual full pics of some of the dinos instead of just an eye of one. Anyways those are my comments

    Loud and Short

    by Dinosaurs5 on 2009-07-16MTS Centre - Winnipeg

I have to say that the show was educational, however it was very loud and not long enough. For almost $60.00 dollars a ticket and only an 80 minute show, kind of seems a bit expensive. The sound was way to loud, I understand that the dinasours are big and loud, but they didn't need to defin the children.

I'd walk with dinosaurs any day!

by supermom on 2009-07-16MTS Centre - Winnipeg

Walking with the dinosaurs was amazing! They were so life like it was unreal! Almost makes you want to go back to junior high (or was it elementary) and study that era all over again! Definitely not for younger children (mine were 7 and 8), but we went with a 4 year old and he did alright! Paraphenalia is always expensive at these shows! Brought our own popcorn so saved $4 a box!

    Walking with Dinosaurs was Spectacular

by JMcLach on 2009-07-16MTS Centre - Winnipeg

When I purchased the tickets for myself, my husband and my daughter I wasn't too sure what to expect with this show. After seeing the show, I will definitely be going again and I can't wait until my son is a little bit older so that I can take him too. I would definitely recommend this show to anyone looking to be amazed.

The dinosaurs were so amazing you would think they were real. The story was excellent. It explained all of the different periods really well. The kids were mesmerized.
