always an amazing show- favourite band, theyre always a blast to see live
Concert was awesome, venue was good for it. Had such a great time, and def looking forward to seeing them again!
The show was incredible. Waterparks are amazing live and do very well utilizing all parts of the stage. I would 100% see them again if they come to Toronto again. They engage with the crowd and do their best to make sure that everyone has a good experience.
best concert ever. buy tickets if u havent seen them before, buy tickets if u have seen them before!
It was so amazing, after the show I met the band but lowkey got rejected a pic which really tricked my ego. But whateves cuz the show was fire, the event overall was very organized and the openers were great!!
The whole show was amazing. The production and stage set up were phenomenal, everything sounded amazing, the lighting was incredible. The bands had so much energy. The only down side was the crowd. The people around me weren’t moving or dancing at all. I felt bad for the band bc I was pretty close to the front and all they can see is the fans just standing there. Hunny and Elliot Lee were definitely the right choice for openers. Elliot Lee got everyone hyped and Hunny kept that going right until Waterparks came on. Was very sad that they didn’t have the full merch selection, but understandable as it is one of two Canadian dates on the tour. The only thing I didn’t like about the venue is that the band was forced to go in front of the venue to get to their bus. They were bombarded with people after the show when they had to leave for the next city and you could tell they were already exhausted. I also feel bad for Hunny because they got a parking ticket bc the venue told them to park in front of a fire hydrant.
Great venue. Great show. Missed Snowglobe again boys. Next time!!!!
this is the top 2 concert i’ve been to. the group is so funny and knows how to have a good time, one of the best set lists i’ve ever experienced. lead singer awsten also has the best live vocals literally ever? considered giving 4 stars because he made somebody drink a bag of milk on stage and that was a … moment of all time. anyways go see them.
They were super sweet and funny! And are just as fantastic live as on the albums!
The venue was good, the band was awesome. Great energy all night and even the openers killed it.
best night of my life!! waterparks is literally the best band ever. i loved in between songs when awsten would talk shit and interact with the crowd... he is fuckin hilarious!! my only complaint is the merch prices were insanely high and there were only a few items, but there were way more at different shows. my bank account really took a hit when i splashed out $50 cad for a single t-shirt....
This was the first time I’ve seen Waterparks as a headliner and I was nothing short of amazed by the show. You can tell they put in a lot of thought and work to create such an amazing experience on stage and their entire presence on stage was phenomenal. Daisy Grenade and Hunny were both amazing as well! Overall I had such an amazing time at this concert!
Seeing Waterparks in concert was a great way to introduce my partner to the music I love. Both of us had a blast and can’t wait for them to come back. I’m still working to get my voice back days after the concert.
i saw them for the first time when they opened for mcr in toronto. i’ve loved them for years and seeing them in concert was absolutely amazing. if you have the opportunity to see them you should 100% do it
Although I didn’t know much about this band at the time of the concert they were absolute killers in Toronto. Being there for MCR and not knowing much I didn’t know what to expect. But it was awesome. Knowing their music now I would give anything to see them live again and scream along.
They were amazing they were full of energy and honestly if they make a concert close to where I live I would go 100%
I saw Waterparks earlier this year because I had won tickets to their show, and in the nine months since then, I've fallen completely in love with their music. They're a little pop, a little rock, and a whole lot of fun. Their show at the Phoenix was energetic (especially considering singer Awsten Knight didn't wake up until 15 minutes before they went on stage), and was a great mix of songs from their full-length, "Double Dare", as well as some jams from their previous EPs. They also played their new single, "Blonde", which got everyone singing along. My only qualm was that the set felt a little short, but they still played about 12-13 songs, including three songs in the encore (which they ended with "I'm a Natural Blue"). Opening acts Sleep On It, Chapel, and As It Is were great choices to kick off the night as they had similar energy and were able to get the crowd moving.
