    Well done

by Kebbie on 2019-12-31Southern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - Calgary

I saw this show approximately 20 years ago in Toronto. Loved it then, loved it now. I loved the little changes to some of the lyrics to modernize the song to fit with the times. The singing was overall very good though some of the music washed out the vocals, but very rarely. I would see this show again. Very proud that it is an Alberta production.

    Loved it!!

by smcyyc on 2019-12-31Southern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - Calgary

The terrace seats were awesome, and the performance was incredible. The voices of Scaramoush and Galileo were amazing. Enjoyed the humour, and the underlying message about the state of our cyberworld. And of course, there is nothing better than hearing Queen!!

The best musical I have seen

by Icandyman on 2019-12-31Southern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - Calgary

This was nothing like I was expecting. It's not just a Queen musical it is a Rock Musical. I never wanted to end. When it finished with an encore of Bohemian Rhapsody, I was in tears ! The fact this a Calgary made show and almost 50% local talent just makes it a must see.

    Not what we expected

by Fred on 2019-12-31Southern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - Calgary

The storyline and singer voices were ok. The lead male voice was excellent. The lead female was good. Sad that so few really well known pieces were skipped over. There were Only three songs in total that were included in an abridged version. The singer for Fat Bottomed Girls did not do the song justice. It should have been a male.

Loved this show!!! What great talent- especially the vocals! Wow so full of energy ! We were all impressed! We knew that they story was a bit cheesy and were delighted with the puns and plays on words as its so lighthearted! The band and actors really put on a great show! Go see it!

    Great Experience

by CJ on 2019-12-31Southern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - Calgary

Great show! I am a big Queen fan and the show does them proud! Without giving anything away they remind us of how awesome Freddie Mercury was/is and there is a hint of magical curly haired guitarist that we all know and love!!! The cast and crew did a great job, they keep you entertained the whole time!

Queen Rocks and so do this Tour - it's a MUST see!

by Class of 77 on 2019-12-31Southern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - Calgary

The lead vocals were totally awesome - and the cast was as well. I was totally impressed with Brian May's selections for the Leads and the cast - Totally impressed! I'd see it again if they come back to Calgary! I never did see Freddy in 1975 at the Jubilee as others had. Trevor Coll and Keri Kelly Killed it!! And of course all the YYC ensemble were terrific!

    Extremely Well Done

by Queen Fan on 2019-12-31Southern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - Calgary

Excellent work by a mostly-local (Calgary!) director, cast, and crew. Super singing, an interesting storyline to tie the songs together, lots of humour, and some impressive choreography. Very well done - should join the ranks of the long-time touring musicals as a must-see! Plus, the re-worked Queen songs were spot-on in terms of lyrics (new and original) and execution!

    Some and Some

by Fan on 2019-12-31Southern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - Calgary

Overall this was a delightful transport into past and future. We read the story before and that helped. Everything was awesome except the Killer Queen who’s interpretation and voice did not fit with the rest of the style. So that spoilt it a bit. The patrons sitting behind us talked loudly the whole time which added to the frustration. Setting that aside, it was a wonderful evening and a very talented Calgary.

    Best ever!

by Maggie on 2019-12-31Southern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - Calgary

We attended the show in Calgary last Saturday. We were impressed with the number of Queen songs that were showcased. The references to other songs and artists were really funny. The cast did a great job in interacting with the audience and making us feel like we were really part of rocking out with Queen. The fact that they were local artists made it even better. We were proud of the local talent. Thank you.

    Not what we expected

by C. G. on 2019-12-31Southern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - Calgary

While the singers were good, this was not a performance we expected. As Queen fans we were expecting something along the lines of a rock tribute, not a story set in the future with changed lyrics to iconic songs. Guess we should of read more about it, before buying tickets.

    Poor sound

by RG on 2019-12-31Southern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - Calgary

I have attended many events at the Jube and always enjoyed the sound, largely because the building is acoustically designed and re-designed. I have even seen a Queen tribute band in the same venue. I found the overall sound to be muted and muffled, particulsrly from the band. Some of the vocals were chrisp and clear but others were mixed so poorly that the words could barely be made out. For a production that has been touring for some time, I would have expected the sound to have been much better, especially for a performance of such iconic music.

Was not impressed with the story line-futuristic and song choices for the first half were not great. Liked the second half better

    Amazing Show! VIP meh

by Show Fan 7745 on 2019-12-31Southern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - Calgary

This was a fantastic show!! Loved every bit of the music, performance, stage...I loved it all! But the VIP component was rushed and didn’t feel that special. All and all I would see it again.
