  • Totally entertaining!

I have seen hundreds -- maybe thousands -- of concerts, including or more of 'Weird Al's,' but this is quite possibly the best show I have ever seen. Funny from start to finish, brilliantly executed and expertly performed, run (don't walk) to get a ticket to this show when it's near you. Brilliant!

  • high energy

I have never seen such uninterrupted high voltage energy in a performance before in my life. Weird Al and his group were in high gear from beginning to end in the sensory extravaganza. The live show was supplemented by video large screen action which added an additional dimension which blended right in with the action and of course allowed Weird Al time for costume changes. We thoroughly enjoyed the invent and recommend it to others. We certainly got way more than our money's worth.

  • Weird Al Slays it Again!

As a lifelong fan of Weird Al, and not having seen him in person in my 28 years, this was the most incredible fan moment of my life. He changed costumes throughout the show, as well as the rest of the band!!! It was just incredible. He came off stage and sang directly to my face, into my eyeballs. Such a crooner even singing a hilarious song! Loved the show so much, that my husband and I are taking our 11 year old daughter(who is also a huge fan) in the summer when he comes to Vancouver BC. Can't wait!! Thank you Weird Al, Jon, Rueben, Jay, and Steve for your perpetually perfect performance. Wish it actually could have gone on never-ending.

I took my kid cuz he wanted to go not exactly knowing what I was in for. I gotta tell you it was one of the most entertaining shows I have attended. Kudos to Weird Al.

Even though were far, still got a good view of the stage and action. He came out in the corresponding outfit the song was in, then did a medley. Everyone was signing along happily. He came out and did 2 songs as a encore. Was the best experience I had, got a pic with him at the Convention the next day.

  • WHAT A COMIC GENIUS!!!!

by Kaap on 2013-05-01Red Robinson Show Theatre - CoquitlamRating: 5 out of 5

Had never been to see Al before and had none of his CD's, but always admired his witty and clever parodies over the years and thought we had to go see him, and are we glad we did! He is such an absolutely brilliant and talented man, and all of his parodies were hysterical; both old and new. We also really enjoyed the few minute clips he'd show between his costume changes. So funny! An awesome show that ran for 2 hours, and the song he did with 2 of his bandmates in the encore was one of the most amazing and fantastic things we had EVER heard. WOW. Well worth seeing him and you certainly won't regret it. Go and enjoy.

Good mix of the old favourites and new material. Nice to see an artist actually singing. True pro in touch with his fans!

  • Weird Al Was Awesome!

by Anisty on 2013-04-30Red Robinson Show Theatre - CoquitlamRating: 5 out of 5

Wow, he's still got it! He was spectacular! He pulled out all the stops & what a wicked wardrobe from his fat suit, to a peacock, to a Jedi Knight, it was pretty cool! Some may be worried he's getting a bit old to still pull it off, but that ain't the case the man & the band were on fire! One thing that was nice too is he went on right at 9pm sharp; didn't leave us hanging like some other bands out there. It was 2 solid hours of great entertainment! I'd just like to say thanks Weird Al for putting on such a good show!

Blew my expectations out of the water, was the funniest show I've seen in years.

  • A very enjoyable evening with Weird Al!

by Mutnat on 2013-04-29Red Robinson Show Theatre - CoquitlamRating: 5 out of 5

This is the second time I've seen Al, and both have been a fantastic experience. He and his band are spot-on. They use costumes, props, and backing videos to visually enhance the experience and drive home the parodies and punchlines. Every single moment is filled with entertainment, since entertaining videos play between songs (during costume changes and such) that draw from Al's decades of work--mock interviews, internet vignettes, AL TV and UHF clips, etc. If you're at all a fan of Al's work, or just like pop-culture references and laughing you buns off, this is the show for you.

  • Still can entertain like no other!

by Mynock80 on 2013-04-29Red Robinson Show Theatre - CoquitlamRating: 5 out of 5

Al has not lost a single beat in his ability to entertain and perform I swear he did about 15-20 costume changes and you didnt feel like your missing anything . the best part was the wheel of fish cause it really made the audience get involved !

  • Weird but awesome!!

by vancouvergrrl on 2013-04-29Red Robinson Show Theatre - CoquitlamRating: 5 out of 5

Weird Al was killer!. I was truly shocked by how much fun the show was. I felt like I was sent back to the 90's for a lot of it! But there were some awesome current music montages . My face hurt from laughing and smiling!!

  • by Anonymous on 2013-04-29Stampede Corral - CalgaryRating: 5 out of 5

I didn't expect the show to be so theatrical with so many costume changes and interludes. Very impressed and I'll be going again next time Weird Al comes back.

  • Weird Al was epic

  • The Master of Parody and King of the Nerd Herd!

by Teleking on 2013-04-29Red Robinson Show Theatre - CoquitlamRating: 5 out of 5

Very slickly produced show. Great sound, lights and special effects and multi-media. Tight band rocked everything they did. Weird Al was fantastic! Very different crowd compared to the usual at the Red. I'm certain a lot of mothers were wondering why their 35 year old was missing from the basement. Lots of hardcore fans in attendance that ate up everything Weird Al did. Very enjoyable show all the way around. I just felt a wee bit out of place in that crowd.

  • by Anonymous on 2013-04-29Stampede Corral - CalgaryRating: 5 out of 5

Weird Al proved once again why he has managed to stay the king of parody all these years. It was an awesome show that I can't recommend enough. The only downside was the terrible acoustics in the Corral.

  • Band was great but could hardly hear them

by SomeRandomGuy on 2013-04-28Stampede Corral - CalgaryRating: 3 out of 5

I loved the show but the sound for the concert was drowned out by an obnoxious amount of bass. It sounded horrible like some 16 year old punk kid of a high school with a terribly put together sound system where all you hear are bass kicks that you wouldnt even normally hear in the song. I loved the song but whatever person that was on the equalizer needs to know you can be loud and rock a place out without obnoxious bass. Bass doesn't equal louder or better.
